Is Xmas why can't the protest just let people have a week of peaceful time where people can go to malls and shopping centers and have dim sum without protest running through malls yelling and screaming and causing issue for restaurant that the protest think is related to China.

Most people in China don't even celebrate Christmas.

Would you stop a war just because it's christmas? If you want peace and quiet stop going to Maxim for dim sum. I had breakfast lunch and dinner peacefully during christmas.
Nope. Zero. I'm in HK right now for the last month and it's SUPER refreshing.
No more luggages being dragged across Element, K11, Musea, isquare, 1881, and ESPECIALLY Harbour City. First of all, Harbour city took away a big chunk of their Xmas lights to start off. Now, I can PEACEFULLY walk and be treated like a normal person if I walk into any brand name store. Last year, exactly the same time, they would only serve my gf who's a mainlander and that's assuming they are free from serving someone else. Now they escort me to all 3 floors and be greeted.
TST, MK, and Causeway bay is full of desperate and polite sales people. You are no longer walking into a crowd of people smoking cigarettes waiting outside of SASA, Bonjour because their wives are inside buying Ferrero Rocher chocolates, milk powder and creams and shit.
Hotels are at all time low. It's RIDICULOUS right now. I gave up transiting home, why? I pay 200+ taxi each night from LKF and that's assuming I can beg a taxi driver to take me to New Territories across the tunnel.
Heck, on Dec 25, when they were "protesting" MK and TST, I booked Holiday Inn for 535, tax in and breakfast included RIGHT on their website on Nathan Road.
I'm staying right by MTR station /North Point for (350 a night, no breakfast) TST /Jordan for 450 tax in WITH breakfast included. Never been this happy taking girls home to a hotel ahahah
I'm going to keep this post positive; got shit load of pictures of HK but since this thread has been quiet, I didn't want to stir the pot again by posting anyting crazy.
Post some pics of the girls u brought back to the hotel! I need to see how much sluttier these girls are with the protest and all...
I ain't seeing these girls at the protest, the ones at the protest are in their early 20s - early 30s at best. No substance, boring and can't hold a conversation. (then again, i'm an old a fart)
The girls I'm seeing are from LKF are educated, willing to spend, and bat shit crazy in bed. All of them proactively got my phone number / wechat after we met the first time. One paid for the hotel at Jordan @ Largos... cause it was only 254 HKD... that's like 60 dollars CDN. ahahahah. Fuck transiting home...
If you know chinese, I gotta say, their calligraphy skill intrepretation on the left is pretty epic.
pics in middle Many of the shops have a wooden wall to protect being vandalized (mostly Maxim restaurants).
Cross walks and roads being vandalized is my far the one that touches my heart. "My friend said to me, HK really doesn't need traffic lights, look how it's still working fine at Nathan road". "FUCK YOU, do you know how many people whom are blind are now unable to go anywhere due to the pedestrian lights and MTR stations being vandalized"
Not that anyone cares about advertising revenue for the harbour tunnel, but I haven't seen any white, blanked billboards for a long time.
Many of the Lennon walls are down, but I still see tons of hilarious posters.
I was caught between cross fires on Dec 24 and 25 on Portland & Nathan, only specific exits being closed down. Nothing compares to stations being shut down back in Nov.
There is an on-going history... no ONE KNOWS who this dude is; 小江
We all know what the V stands for; V for Vandetta, but i have yet find out who the fuck 小江 is. No one has been able to give me any type of answer.
I was at Humphrey's Rd and this blind woman almost walked right in front of a car because the bricks are now being covered by concrete (to prevent being dug up).

Can confirm, was in HK for a smidge more than a week with gf who was visiting family. There were so few mainlanders and non-locals anywhere it was, as the above post mentioned, refreshing to say the least, especially coming from someone who lives in Richmond

I only get turned on by professional whores where whoring is their profession. Not whores who are professionals. yuck, that means I have to actually listen to the shit that comes out of their mouth.
It’s quite the markup. I think the reg price is 15k.
15k if you spend x amount beforehand. It's sorta the unspoken rules of Hermes. The good thing (kinda) is that SAs in HK stores are actually quite upfront with it. They will tell you how much you have to spend and they will offer you one. Plus the 35 is no longer in high demand (the trend now... for Asia at least is 25). So, you shouldn't have to spend a hell lot more to be offered one.
Too many people only want Birkin/Kelly. Sadly, similar things happen with high-end cars.
Say you have enough dough to pay the MSRP of a limited edition McLaren... but it doesn't mean you can just ask Tofu to sell you one at MSRP. Only the VERY V of their "VIP" are able to get an allocation to buy one. Sure they buy it at MSRP, but they have already made the dealer so much money on other deals before being considered.
a handful of people i know flew back from Australia/US/Germany for their civic duty
75% turnout for the presidential election (record was 83% in 2000 which is pretty insane for a no-obligation turnout)...record 8.2M votes for the incumbent
