Hand is disputable, as is the state of the person being thrown out of the window. They look either dead, unconscious, or semi-conscious on their way down, bouncing off the wall like nothing.

Also a backpack was thrown out after the body, unless it jumped on its own as well

^^ you really want to post a tweet from Joey Siu ... that intellectual ??!!

SkinnyPupp 01-14-2020 04:59 AM

It's irrelevant whose tweet I shared which contains the video. Stop.

Anyway, here's a closeup someone made, where it's more clear

Someone filmed being pushed out of a window at a DSQ residence (Govt run police officers housing estate)

I don't see the hand, but someone falling from that high only 'fell' unconscious, and not dead??!

"No suspicious element has been detected at this stage."

Should clarify that not all of the blocks at this estate are DSQ housing. Half are DSQ, half are public housing.

Time to revive this thread!

Hong Kong government just announced a $120 billion relief package
Which including a $10k HKD handout to every Hong Kong citizen over the age of 18 years.

This is clearly directed at the recent unrest in addition to being hit with the virus.
What is the word on the street? Will protestor stand strong and Not accept the handout?

From my social media. I am seeing bunch of people still posting anti government meme about this. I wonder how many will meme than accept the handout.

SkinnyPupp 02-26-2020 02:48 PM

I mean why wouldn't you? It doesn't invalidate your cause, and in fact the money can be used to further it and keep fighting

The government is making their highest deficit in history to try to buy off the people

Good news for me is that I'll be eligible this time, so $20K for us SeemsGood Couldn't come at a better time either

I would. Is free money. I am sure a lot of people who live in Canada would go back to get the money too.

yray 02-26-2020 03:21 PM

surprised they didn't bring out the 10k earlier

I would find it stupid for somoene who would just say no. Seriously, who would say no to free cash. It's 10k.

Last time the 7k & 9k (i think), i didn't need to go back to get it. Just sign over authority.

asian_XL 02-26-2020 05:07 PM

10K HKD is like CAD1700, I would rather give up that amount, but do NOT want police salary raise and fucking armour trucks.

people can't even pay 1 month of rent with 10K, so fuck it. We want salary reduction of the govnt' officials and police

this thought came to mind Kappa

threezero 02-26-2020 05:46 PM

I don’t believe you have to go back to claim the money.

From my understanding you would not need to have a local Hong Kong based bank account.
This would rule out anybody that got their account frozen due to various “suspicious activity”

Tim Budong 02-26-2020 06:26 PM

i didnt have to go back when they handed out the 6k in like 2011 or somethin

but yea.. im not saying no to 10k and i dont agree with the gov't at all haha

Bro if 10K is that insignificant to you, mind sending some my way? LUL

asian_XL 02-26-2020 09:47 PM

I am currently jobless and still wish to live in a peaceful city. People with 10K would likely to buy masks and rubbing alcohol (I spent over 3-4k on surgical masks already for my family) . The amount of dollar spent on police is totally absurd and never mention policies to fight the virus.

Prefer lower the unemployment rate than one-off cash support.

I get it, but look at it this way. Keep fighting, because one day we may be able to actually elect a government who isn't completely incompetent, and wouldn't give out $10K to someone regardless of whether it's 1 month income for them, or 1 year, or 1 week.

However, these fools are doing it no matter what you think, like they do with everything else, so of course go get that money!

PiuYi 02-27-2020 02:15 PM

:lol seems every time the hk govt finds itself in deep shit with the people they throw money at them

benefit of living in a wealthy city I guess, but bad economic policy

Arrested for telling someone to DLLM back in 2017

They don't even try anymore to not look like thugs for the CCP. They went and got him after he leaked that letter from Carrie Lam saying she'd use the virus outbreak for political gain FailFish

asian_XL 02-29-2020 06:00 AM

protesters are back :fuckyea:

SkinnyPupp 02-29-2020 02:26 PM

ae101 03-04-2020 03:56 AM

so the requirement for the 10k? I don’t live in hk now and my hk bank account was long gone

impactX 03-04-2020 04:30 PM

I bought my family 3m half masks and enough 7093 P100 filters to last for several months.

The amount of corruption in this city is simply unprecedented, with the commissioner of police in bed with organized crime groups (although this is typical under CCP’s national security model). It is one thing to kowtow to the supreme leadership of the CCP, it is another to be wholly incompetent.

HKD10k packaged with funding for the police to acquire more armoured trucks with water cannon. They may as well acquire real tanks. I am surprised that no one has voiced out against Mercedes or Zung Fu for supplying these equipments.
