Yeah "conspiracy to commit public nuisance" is such a serious charge, definitely worth getting rid of a tenured professor for.
And I'm sure all those members voted on their own accord. 100%. Absolutely. Yup. The pro-protest university is still pro-protest I'm sure. 
Come on man think about it a bit. If you're right, this would literally be the ONLY time HK isn't getting screwed in this entire thread.

I still don't see anything wrong with the sacking of the professor
But wow at these candidates being banned
As for the world standing by, eh HK is China after all... If the world's going to let a few million uighurs be loaded onto trains and sent to concentration camps, they're not going to care about HK "never again" only applies to Europe I guess

Are there any actual statistics on the number of Uyghurs killed in the camps? I'm not trying to be facetious here, but all I can find are references to "cultural genocide", but people seem to be parading out terms like "concentration camps" and "death camps" with scant evidence of systemic killings/executions.

With the recent development in HK, I'd honestly be active to avoid traveling through HK at all cost.
Not that I've done anything wrong IMHO... but it seems that having an opposing opinion about anything China does triggers this new HK law and god knows what would happen if I ever try to step on HK.
Sad because I have many friends in HK and totally love Cathay as well as all the HK food.

Look at it this way, you can't be working for the liberal gov't if you go against JT.
You won't last long at Apple/Telsa? MS if you say F U Steve Jobs, Elon and Bill Gates and their leadership.
How's that different if you work at your job if you don't listen to your leadership. The movie, American Factory, fired those who wanted to start a union....
