HK police have reached a new low, dressing up as protesters and when they got identified started firing on people with live ammunition. They are terrorists
Edit: for the clowns complaining about "photojournalism" there are first-hand accounts of police officers laughing and cackling as they assault citizens with tear gas, pepper spray, and pepper pellets

-police are under lots of stress
-one frame/video only shows part of the picture
-The protestor verbally attacked first, so we have to beat the shit out of them for our protection
-The duty commander showed strong constraint and professionalism.
They are cracking down extra hard in an attempt to scare people into not coming out on Oct 1. Of course this is china, so everything they do will have the opposite effect. They are, for the first time, dealing with people who have free thought and desire liberty.
Oct 1 is a day of mourning for China. I hope everyone who does go out will be calm and contemplative, while continuing to make the 4 remaining demands (some of which are already written into law)

The video of the Indonesian reporter being hit, showed protesters running in front of the press to throw things at the police below an escalator and as the police were firing on the protesters she got hit. https://reddit.app.link/6qXeNdBoo0

Not that it matters, but there were no protesters in front of the press at the time. And even if there were, firing a pot shot while retreating is another case of police brutality and assault, and should be investigated. Those less-lethal rounds are to be used to hold back a charging rioter. It's not used to take pot shots at random peoples' faces as you walk away.
I went up to a cute chick and asked her if she'd let me take a photo of her for $30 she slapped me, she said to me that "I AIN'T A WHORE!"
But other than that I have seen every car on display in DTP just by cruising about in Richmond, thank you very much for collecting them together and get someone to sing a cover for "fuck you".
OH FUCK YOU OH OH OOOOH~

Footage of the agents provocateur, police dressed as protesters. They are swinging their extendable batons at protesters, throwing bricks and other items at them. Protesters are defending themselves, and they flee. You can hear them shooting a live round near the end of the video.
I can't even imagine what they're trying to accomplish here, other than to cause more violence, more injury and maybe death. There is literally nothing else they can hope to achieve with this tactic.
These fucking HK cops....unexcuseable.
If I was a there and protesting, can bet your ass I'd have a knife or an axe on me for when i get tackled. I wouldn't even think of these baffoons as cops.
Protesters need to catch a few of these cops and dangle them off a rooftop and completely embarrass the entire HK police force.

I just came back from Beijing and to be honest no one really cares about the protest in HK. I actually haven't any news coverage about it in China. The Chinese media is basically thinking it is more important to broadcast about the 70th anni than the protest in HK.
When I talk to my parent's in law and my wife's friend some of them don't even know there is a protest in HK and those that does don't really give a fxxk about it.
