You still have a chance to stop trying to "save face" and back out... Give up man, face it, you do NOT want to live in mainland China, and nobody here blames you.
Why do I have to back down when they are the ones who suggests it ? I’m willing to play this game. I just wanna see if they are willing to pay the cost of running their mouths online. Set it up, pm me the dates and twdm you probably need a proxy or else you’ll need to fly in so lawyer up too. This is going to get expensive for you fucks because I sure as shit ain’t going to make it cheap for you.

You're not going to follow through in the end. The only reason you're going along with it is because you believe people won't follow through. When all is said and done, you will have to back out anyway. You're even trying to increase the expenses as it is, so make sure you end up being right.
I truly believe there are people who would be willing to put an obvious fascist shill/troll in their place by shipping them to China for good. It's just not really worth the hassle IMO.
Just give up, you take your face loss, and move on. I'm trying to help everyone get along here.
You can’t get a “certificate of renunciation“ until the Chinese government accepts your immigration. You can’t be nationless. I’d have to remain Canadian until Chinese immigration works out. So go the fuck ahead. Setup your lawyer make sure he does immigration too because I ain’t doing jack shit for jumping through Chinese immigration hoops. Hukuo is next to impossible to obtain so good fucking luck. Big talk from you fucking clowns, I’ll see it when you actually send funds over. And please don’t group fund this because this isn’t a joint venture. You each need to throw in a business ticket since each of you cocky ass motherfuckers say you’re willing to undertake this project. That’s 2 business tickets right now and all the legal fees for Chinese immigration. One ticket from hehe and one from twdm. Anyone else wanna join in ? I got a few more friend who would like to go too.
Go ahead arrange your lawyer. I’m free in December. You’re going to have to pay for my legal representation too since once again this is all your idea. You wanna play fuckers ? Let’s play internet tough guy.
For someone whose lifelong dream was to be a chinese citizen, you're sure making us go through a lot of hoops to help you fulfill your dream. In terms of the ticket funding, we're covered (Hehe offered to top you up to first class, which is actually more expensive than two business class tickets, but I guess logic isn't your strong suit). Also, you don't need a fucking lawyer to apply for Chinese citizenship. You just need to renounce your canadian citizenship once you're approved.
Let me go through the simple steps with you:
1. Apply for restoration of chinese nationality
2. Once chinese citizenship is obtained, apply for renunciation of canadian citizenship (as canada allows for dual nationality)
3. Business class ticket will be waiting for you. Hell I'll throw in a limousine with them chinese flags on the front for you to the airport.
I'm willing to escrow the money until this is sorted out.

Yeah okay fucker so see you in 10 to 12 years then if ever. That’s how long immigration takes. But you wanna play so get the lawyers together and let’s draft this.

You're not immigrating, you're restoring your nationality. Whether it is approved or not is another problem, but all it takes is a simple application form. No lawyers required. You're making it as if most of the chinese population is rich as fuck and have access to lawyers on a whim.
Do you fucking hire a lawyer to apply for a passport?
My nationality is Canadian. There is no restoration of Chinese nationality. Hence the lawyers needed for this whole process. What you pussying out again ? Why don’t you want lawyers involved.
Yeah most of the Chinese people ain’t rich as fuck but I am. This isn’t some bullshit elementary school game where you can pinky swear on it. You wanna do this, everyone is going to have to have legal representation to make sure it’s binding.
For the small minded people who think "this is just a HK thing"... Like I said, no. China is alienating themselves from the world, little by little. They are going back to 70's style isolation from the rest of the world.
Any company that doesn't stand up to them will feel it from their western customers. If they want that sweet chinese money so bad, fine. I think the goal should be to make it so that's the only money they make. Until they get banned in China for some random reason, then they're fucked

Blah blah blah... all I'm hearing is more and more excuses.
You keep adding stuff to the agreement that simply show you aren't willing to do it.
twdm was willing to pay for a 1-way business ticket in exchange for your renunciation of CDN citizenship. You agreed but asked him to buy it first. I offered to up the ante to first class, twdm offered to write a check to leave with skinny, you still asked the ticket first as you were worried that we wouldn't be honoring the deal if you go ahead with the process.
I now offer to put the fund in an escrow and get everything down on the paper so both sides have no way to back it out.
You now say you weren't originally a Chinese citizen and needs legal representation to obtain Chinese residency, which you pointed out in your previous post that you came when you were 6, which I'm quite sure you had the nationality at some point in your life.
You keep deviating from the original bet when people call out your bluff. Whether we up the ante or not, you'd simply keep adding things on top. Where does it stop?
I will tell you what, I'd give you one last chance to back down, even going as far as taking the excuse of China immigration being difficult.
Because I'd just let you know... I'm not rich as fuck as you are. But I am certainly in the position to be comfortable spending tens of thousands at will which I think both twdm and Manic are in the same position too for the cause of fulfilling the life-long dream of a fellow RSer.
I'd suggest you to think twice before I agree to call on your latest request.
Details of how this agreement will ultimately work out will be decided in a joint party by the lawyers. I aint doing shit without legal representation and since this is your idea, you're going to have to pay for all of it. All i need to do is renounce my Canadian citizenship when and if get my Chinese one.
now manic is involved? so thats 3 business class tickets please. This aint no crowd funding bullshit.

The US have done the same thing too. Just recently they pull out of the Paris climate change because the other countries aren't doing as much as US did, complain and threaten to leave NATO since the other member didn't contribute as much as they did, complain about trade deals with Canada Europe and pretty much everyone in the world. There are more but that's just recently. It might not be as obvious as China but US did a lot of these bullying too. We just kinda of accept it coz it was the US.
^^ this is how on the streets of HK, shouting matches become physical fights and beat downs. It just escalates and escalates. This is how HK got to where it is today, no one willing to compromise or back down, everyone putting on their tough face.
Everyone just take a valium ... nothing is going to happen, no lawyers, no escrow, no one is going to buy any 1st class ticket, and no one is going to renounce sh*t. No one will come up with a list of 5 demands. Go back to work, stay off RS for a few days, hug your kids, and enjoy the nice sunny fall weather if you're in 604.
enough trash talk, organize lawyers and lets do this. tell them to PM me the dates. time for you guys to eat your fucking words. Details of how this agreement will ultimately work out will be decided in a joint party by the lawyers. PM'd you my number. Find me on Whatsapp. Let's make a RSer dream come true!
It's only a few thousand dollars... no need for everyone to lawyer up. Just one lawyer to set up the agreement and escrow.
I checked the price of business class from YVR-PVG... and it's anywhere between 1900 to 4000 with the median pricec around 3000. 3x3000, I'd offer to round it up to 10k so we make sure we aren't cutting any corners.
So what's a guy gotta do to get a first class ticket to Belize around here?

Damn, only $3k to get a dumbass to renounce his Canadian citizenship? That’s pretty hilarious. At least ask for the ugliest balenciaga’s in the catalogue and an anti social social club shirt on top dude.

Include in the contract that if he doesn't follow through or don't comply to what's needed, he has to pay back 4x the amount of the money. So we either get to deport him or we get some good return if he backs out.

I'm actually glad this is happening especially with the potential ban of NBA in China which would make those in China sympathize with the situation in HK. I feel like the protestors should've put more emphasis on how China affects the world as a whole (this would make people think it's less of an HK only thing). Not sure if others have noticed, but the south park episode while exaggerated is pretty correct. Almost all media now has to make adjustments for China in some way if they want a piece of the pie.
