That was pretty much what I was hedging my bets on. Plus even for some strange reason it did go through I’d just come right back and use my American citizenship since you can’t even give that up. I’d figure a few thousand dollars of legal fees for each of these fuckers would teach them a good lesson to not run their fucking mouths.

Oh well.

Oh never mind I guess you can renounce your American citizenship too. Shit is all complicated.

More like money can silence things. This should not be how the world is run.

The Chinese citizen might not truly understand what is freedom of speech. But we do. Protecting that is important even if you don’t agree with the Hong Kong protest and its shenanigans. You can defend China but still recognize its shortcoming

What happen to loving your home country AND your adopted one? Freedom of speech, the real freedom of speech not the version presented by China is one of the fundamental of Canadian society. A bedrock of the country.

Good faith in my case is the willingness to sign any contractual obligation to renounce my Canadian citizenship upon our agreed terms. Not my fault if China doesn’t want me. I don’t control that aspect of the deal.

Money talks is what you are actually seeing in action right now. You can pretend it’s not the case but the evidence is right in front of you. Good or bad, that’s the reality.
