Miami & Orlando

Anyone been there? I have 4 days in Miami and then 4 days in Orlando. Won't be going to Disney or any theme parks in Orlando, so looking something to do that's local there.

Any suggestions.
Scuba, salsa dancing are what I'm hoping to check out, but anything else?

Orlando is a shit hole. But I did go go-karting in Orlando. Most of the time I was there, I was at Disney World.

There's a few malls to go shopping. Nothing else really stuck out that I would recommend.

Miami is nice. It's a 45 min drive to Sawgrass which is a very big mall and is connected next door to the rink where the Panthers play hockey.

Depending on when you go, not sure how warm the beaches will be in Miami, but you definitely need to check out South Beach. Lots of Art Deco buildings and the main strip is quite famous from movies like Scar Face and Vanilla ice's song. A1A, Beach Front Avenue.

I'd recommend eating stone Crab at Joe's Stone Crab and then getting a slice of Key Lime pie.

I love Miami, would go back in a heartbeat. Such a vibrant city, there's always something going on. I would spend all 4 days in Miami, I don't even think it's enough to explore all of Miami either. if you go betwen miami and orlando you'll spend a lot of time driving.
