they dont take the full balance when you're ordering and can be conditional to the test drive |

because civic and rav4 is ballin' out? joke's getting old..some prefer old, some prefer new and some happens to like both look at the sig above as he seems to be replacing a 13 year old vehicle, i dont understand why threre needs to be so much judgement |
Fuck it, nvm. |
Thanked for best response. |
Aww now I wanna know what trollface said. |
Has the Canadian MSRP for Rav4 Prime been announced? I only recall seeing the US MSRP being announced recently. |
wonder if they're prius tires :fuckthatshit: looks scarier than a s2000 lmao |
Very likely they put on the tires with least rolling resistance to maximize those fuel range numbers. |
The XSE runs Yokohama Avid GT S35, 235/55R-19 101V M+S The SE (as tested by SavageGeese) runs Dunlop Grandtrek PT20 225/60R-18 100H M+S. Curb weight is 4400lbs. No surprise that this porker doesn't turn well on crappy narrow tires. For XSE replacement tires, options on the sportier side are not bad. - Pilot Sport A/S 3+ are available but I hear the 'XL' rated tread design is loud and the RAV4's sound isolation is quite poor. - Conti DSW06 available too. - Pirelli Scorpion Zero AS are available (i.e. SUV version of the P Zero All Season) For SE replacement tires.... it's bad. - None available in Street/Sport Truck AS category - P Zero AS Plus is the only UHP AS available. |
Better watch out for Auntie Wong breaking traction outta the T&T parking lot in her RAV4 Prime after picking up some discount lobster. |
another vehicle i just got came with 225/60R18...the selection is much wow |
Would you guys really buy this over model 3? Or y? I was playing around with building a Prius plug in, and payments are roughly $600 a month, 3+% interest rate. That's pretty much $50 less a month than if I got a model 3. And interest rates are similar. I don't know why new car finance rates are so high when rates are at zero. I'm sure Rav 4 decently specd is easily in the $800 to $900 a month which is model y money. |
ev vs phev is an easy decision, but i dont think this rav4 quite spec up to model Y pricing |
this... ^ For someone like my parents, having the piece of mind of where you could top up at a gas station to keep going is huge... and also most people that age will opt for the "reliability" of toyota over "tech/new/fresh" of tesla Im actually on the same boat, for the “same money” I would actually probably go for Rav4 instead of Tesla 3/Y.... I can see Rav4 as my primary family vehicle, where I see Tesla as a "3rd vehicle" sort to speak.... |

I'd take the RAV4 Prime over the Model 3 or Y in a heartbeat. I've driven a Model 3, nothing special. I for sure will never own a Tesla, even if I'm shopping for an EV. |
I'd rather have the hassle free experience of Toyota ownership and no bullshit service/replacement parts from Toyota for a daily driver. The gas engine is also huge for my busy lifestyle and the road trips that I'd like to do (did Banff 2x last year, YVR > SEA round trip every other weekend). Thinking about charging when timing is tight or when I've got a lotta other stuff on my mind is kinda the last thing I wanna do. |
Canadian pricing is out! https://postmediadriving.wordpress.c...-incentive-cap Quote:
That premium package is $$$$$$ |
i can see this catching the attention of model Y buyers dont expect to be able to buy a base model before the incentives run out though? |
I kind of want to see if I can test drive this. We test drove the Rav4 Hybrid, and while we mostly liked it, the NVH was bad in that car, almost like they forgot to put in sound deadening. This is coming from a M3 as well which isn't exactly quiet. I feel like with the prime where the engine will be on even less, tire noise and wind noise would be more pronounced |

Wonder what the supply will be like locally in the beginning, this is priced right especially after all the incentives. A friend selling for a Toyota store in LA just received their first unit and it quickly sold 15K over MSRP :heckno:. Supply seems really tight, they won't get their second unit until February and even Longo Toyota only received a few units to sell. |
hahahahaha 15k over msrp on a corolla platform |
