I am primarily a driver, and I used to ride motorcycles. Obviously I also know how to ride bicycles, but I don't ride to commute.
In one of the longer comment thread, you can see how drivers and cyclists think on completely different wavelengths, and therefore have completely different expectations.
As a pedestrian I’ve almost been hit by cyclists blowing stop signs at high speed only to get their wrath. It was only situational awareness that caused me to step back. Should have anticipated even better before stepping off the curb.
