Iirc, stores here are periodically releasing stock as it arrives. There's also a chrome plugin that tracks stores and alerts you to when there would be stock.

iirc there was an article saying stock will be low due to sony having trouble sourcing some parts due to covid and China's closure, that coupled with Sony's rule of online only sales, and higher demand, means it'll be tougher to come by
Both MK11 and GOW5 are on Game Pass. I don't think MK11 has the DLC included though. If you want to play that, you should do the trick to load up 3 years of Game Pass Ultimate.
Sonick is a genius. I won't go into detail what's so great about his post. But it's damn good!

cant decide between the new ps5 controller vs xbox series for PC lol
xbox would be a solid choice but Im hoping future PC games implement all the dope shit the new ps5 controller does
PC compatibility is much easier for XBOX. It's integrated into the system. For PS5 you'll have to use hacks basically, which Steam has built in but outside that you'll need 3rd party software.
Also I don't expect any of the features to be used outside demos and hacks.
I don't even really expect multiplatform PS5 games to use them. At least not to the extent you see in that demo that comes with the console.
Probably not as extensive as first party games but apparently some multiplat games are using the trigger features already. Guns in COD have adaptive triggers for different guns, tired players makes the trigger harder to press when running in NBA 2k. Everything I've heard about the dualsense has been positive.
Picking my PS5 up tomorrow can't wait to try it out!
This has been the most ridiculous rollout I've ever seen for a new console. The scalping on these things are on another level.
Pretty much accepted that I won't be able to purchase a PS5 until early next year. With all the bots and scalpers online, any website that gets stock is literally gone in seconds.
This is so odd, people buying out video cards, and consoles like this, was never an issue in the last generation. I remember buying my PS4 from Best Buy the same week it was released, in store

What a change.
2020 for ya, they just couldn't manufacture enough with China going into full lockdown for months
Interesting comments from XBox CFO on the Bethesda purchase, sounds like it's not out of the question that their games will end up on PlayStation eventually.

with people buying up anything to make a quick buck, this isn't surprising at all
Been playing a shit ton of Ghost of Tsushima since it went on sale for $50.
Looks amazing for a PS4 title and it runs at 60FPS on a PS5.
Here are some screenshots that I've taken in-game. They look even better on my Sony X900H.
I've been feeling the same way about Valhalla since upgrading to the 3070. I just wander around and explore the map, rather than just chasing dots, just because the world looks so beautiful and varied. There's a segment where you go to
Spoiler!
Vinland (future Canada)
and it was awe inspiring (and made me

a bit homesick
)
I also find myself just moving the camera around a lot, because never before have I had a PC powerful enough to run a game at such high settings with >90 FPS. It actually feels amazing, and I feel a bit of a dopamine rush when I move the mouse and there's no lag at all despite looking so good.
The game itself is fine, and very buggy, but it looks so good
Does Tsushima have an option for lower res and higher framerate? 1440p/120 would be amazing. Maybe it'll come to PC eventually
Has anyone gotten an external harddrive for their PS5 yet? Mine is already full because of PS4 games. Should I be getting a SSD or is it over kill? From what I understand, you can only install ps4 games in the external?

PS5 doesn't support PS5 games on SSD, you must upgrade with specific models of NVMe drives, which don't exist yet
Also it doesn't support archiving of games, so you can't move them to external drives and reinstall later. I assume this will be added eventually though
If you have a lot of PS4 games taking up space, then yeah an SSD makes sense
