Anyone still into fighting games? Got a good suggestion for a fight stick?
Last one I owned one was the SFIV TE stick years ago.
Looking to grab a new one now. Something with good quality buttons. I can swap out parts with Sanwa ones if necessary, but something all in one would be good.

Lots of games have PS5 patches that makes performance much better.
And unless you plan on holding out for the PS5 Pro in like 3 years, there's no difference in buying one at launch vs. a year down the road. You're still paying the same price for the same product at the end of the day.

I've been thorougly loving the PS5. I have only played One real PS5 game on it, which was AC Valhalla, but its been amazing playing my PS4 games with the graphical and performance upgrades.
I'm coming from a base PS4 so the updates have been HUGE for me. I am replaying games from my back log and its been a great experience. Paired with my new x900h TV, and the 3D headphones, the experience has been unmatched.
I am unsure what my next PS5 game will be so far, most likely FFVII Intergrade.

Yeah, I played Ghost of Tsushima with the PS5 patch and it was so nice and smooth.
Buying the PS5 also gives you access to the PS Plus Collection if you have PS+ and it has some really nice titles in there if you never got the chance to play some of them.
I actually hate that I hate Souls games, because they look so fucking good. But I just can't do it. Not even the lighter ones like that Respawn Star Wars game.

Exactly like you.
I think it's age, to be honest -- those fast twitch muscles aren't what they used to be, it's complicated having to learn combo techniques/routines and such.
Probably doesn't help being blazed out half the time while playing games as well.
I can't take the stress of these types of games anymore, I just want to relax and enjoy a story. Thus RPGs, or games like RDR/GTA are more my forte nowadays

Yeah I don't even think it's so much about the difficulty, but rather the fact that you have to invest a lot of time to learn the system and play very strictly all the time. I prefer a more loose fighting model, like Assassin's Creed, that just lets me kick some ass. It's still challenging and not too casual, but it doesn't torture you if you don't play it a very specific way.
When they advertised the faster load times for FFVII Remake with the PS5 patch, I didn't know how fast it actually meant until I booted the game up myself.
Literally loads in 1-2 seconds. I don't know what kind of black magic fuckery they did because I've never seen something like this.

I can't stand any kind of game that doesn't have multiple checkpoints while you're playing. The last thing I want to do is replay an entire level especially if the difficultly is hard as fuck.
Rift Apart looks great but I'll probably wait till it's cheaper.

The game was released in 1997. In another 20 years, I'll be disappointed if we can't get the Matrix version.
650 for a console's pretty reasonable when you think about the alternatives. PC gaming will cost you multiples of that if you can even find a graphics card that's not used for mining.
My XSX has replaced my aging htpc and is a 4k Blu Ray player with all the new HDR and audio technologies, along with backwards compatibility to 360 and Xbone justified the price for me.

Is there a way to force a pc to shutdown remotely when it's frozen?
I was going to buy a power bar that could be accessed remotely, and you could switch individual sockets on n off, but didn't because I thought I wouldn't need a feature like that
