only casually...i still haven't decided between series x or ps5 as there are no titles that i really want to play...so i'm not really in a rush until overwatch 2 comes out.

i think i'm ok for now thanks for the offer though.

Playstation released their new Plus tier games for the upcoming subscription service. I am impressed. Not gamepass level, but still impressive. if they keep it up.

huge let down if you're a gamer who purchased all those AAA titles day 1.

anyone holding back... its huge & cost effective till you beat the games, how much more they can release in the future to keep you paying. who knows.

Only game on there I’m interested in is spider man miles morales. Is it a game like Star Wars etc though with timed combos? Lol

98% of that RDR2 and COD Warzone.. previous gen titles.. pretty sweet next gen console..

Easily the worst console generation thus far. Outside of CP2077, I haven't played a single other title.

It's the double edge sword of these hyper-realistic graphics and filmesque production values -- everything takes forever to develop nowadays, and publishers are taking way less risk in putting out potential duds (or games in which they can't monetize down to the pixel).

Modern gaming is the worst gaming by far.

I long for the 90's/early 2000's.

There might be some parts where there is a timed combo but overall I remember the combat being pretty good. I got the platinum in both the original and Miles Morales so I must have enjoyed it lol

It's not a very long game if you just do the main story so it's definitely worth trying out

Oh yea I must have had a portion of my time with CP..although I absolutely blew threw the game compared to RDR2

SkinnyPupp 05-17-2022 09:12 PM

There are tons of great games that aren't necessarily AAA titles. If you're willing to expand your tastes, you'll find enjoyment in many of them. And so many are on Game Pass FeelsGoodMan

Hondaracer 05-18-2022 11:34 AM

Anyone played the Lego Star Wars skywalker saga yet?

Wife and I love the Lego games and have played a bunch of them because the coop is so good, this one seems like a slam dunk with great reviews etc. just don’t really feel like spending $90 lol

nabs 05-18-2022 12:03 PM

I always buy games on discount, the only game I bought brand new in ages is GT7 which was/is a huge letdown. Even setup a damn rig for it too.

I think I was always anticipating a service like this, I would use it more often than Netflix.

If you're interested in selling the rig, I might be interested in buying it ... for the right price.

So that I too can be disappointed by GT7 when I finally get it lol

Received my Vewlix clones today. If anyone is interested, I have three in the "diamond blue" colour scheme with white buttons and sticks (there's actually 8 buttons, but picture was before they added the extra ones).

Asking for $1800 CAD, which is basically cost.

Gonna throw a budget PC I built in one to play Street Fighter and run RetroArch. Gonna be project this weekend once I get the Brooks fighting boards in to connect the buttons to my computer.

This is on sale at most retailers rn, I picked it up for $59.99 on Amazon, to play with the wife as well.

Hondaracer 06-09-2022 09:05 AM

Good timing for me..love paying $90 lol.. ffs..

It’s really fun though I’d say worth it ecen at full price for a Lego game. Each character has their own abilities and animations in attacks etc. which is pretty impressive given the amount of characters

New gameplay trailer for Guile in SF6. The man finally has eyebrows! And the way he starts his watch timer before and at the end of the trailer is a nice touch.

Summer Gamesfest is/was today. Here is the youtube link. Lots of reveals and new trailers within. I'm so glad this replaced E3.

Goes on thru to Sunday I believe.

Acura604 07-05-2022 12:08 PM

finally got one to add to my entertainment room... what games to get?

Hondaracer 07-05-2022 02:40 PM

RDR2
Cyberpunk 2077

SkinnyPupp 07-05-2022 03:38 PM

Elden Ring (but get the PS4 version, it includes both but the PS4 version runs at a steady 60 fps)

donk. 07-05-2022 04:04 PM

Picked up back4blood, not impressed. I think the original LFD were better

Acura604: you can also download Warzone for free, me and my buddies pretty much only play this

+1 for cyberpunk 2077

Farcry6, hopefully they patched all the glitches by now

Hondaracer 07-05-2022 08:01 PM

Yea like all I play is Warzone now lol

GLOW 07-05-2022 08:06 PM

Game Pass is an absolute no brainer and the main reason to own an Xbox

Gamepass Ultimate is also pretty cheap to get via third party key websites (large thread on RFD). It's something like $70ish for 3 years plus one month fee (either $1 or $16.99 depending on if you have a targetted offer).
