This is the dumbest thing I've read in here and a lot of stupid shit gets posted on a daily basis.
Maybe that's the rationale behind the corona parties? To "get it over with"?
I can understand why some people think that way as we are all growing impatient, but even if the risk is relatively low with me, I'd rather not play it if I have the choice, and it's not hard to avoid it if you pay some attention.
I definitely empathize with the feeling that people have of just wanting this to be over. It's an understandable reaction, but you really have to put some more thought into it if you're seriously considering it.
If everyone decided to infect themselves at once, we'd have an Italy or Wuhan on our hands, as hospitals would be crushed under the load.
Currently, as much as there's anecdotes of people out and about, Canadians are handling this pretty well by the looks of it, sticking to the stay-at-home directions. I just hope we can get masks into the hands of most of the population so when people DO go out (whatever their reason may be) it can be contained as much as possible.
So I wouldn't call someone "stupid" for thinking this way. If they were to act upon it though, that's another story...
It's easy for me and many others to say "just stay home, stop complaining" of course, since we have privileges like being able to live comfortably at home for weeks on end, having a partner to keep company with, etc. So I am not going to judge people who are distressed from this. Yes, others have it MUCH harder, the ones who are on the frontlines risking their lives, but for many even staying put is challenging. Not everyone is built the same way, that goes for physically as well as mentally. So I don't like some of the 'gatekeeping' I see. It's not frivolous to complain about having to stay home - cabin fever is a very real thing. Hang in there though.

Thereve actually been people trying to organize corona parties like they do with chickenpox
I kind of hesitate when ordering food too, in case there’s a psycho out there deciding to cough/spit/lick food they’re preparing to “help” infect ppl as there has been with pox
Anyone ever think about getting purposely infected so they can go on living their life. Especially before BC healthcare gets inevitably more overwhelmed than it currently is.
Alberta woman in her 20s dies of COVID-19 becoming youngest reported death in Canada
The fake one says defective masks will be given 고환 (testicle).
There's an RS member currently in need of some testicles, if anyone gets a couple defective masks maybe pass them along.

Really you should be treating take out food the same as groceries + reheat it til it's steaming.
Some tweets from a Wapo reporter about just how dysfunctional the US govt was during this. I mean we all know it was bad, but here are some details.
We all know Trump was going to be dangerous for the country and world, but it seemed more like a joke or something. That may be why there were no real efforts by the public to get rid of him, just a lot of lame posturing by the dems, and a lot of complaining.
But here we are...
Canada's federal government spent the majority of this outbreak focused on 'not stigmatizing the virus'.
The rest was spent following the CCP controlled WHO's directive.
Here's a comprehensive timeline. Grab some popcorn and have a read.

Yes just about everyone but Taiwan, Singapore, Macau, Korea, and the citizens of Hong Kong reacted to this wrong.
Canada did what they were "supposed to do". They listened to the WHO. That's who you should take issue with for now.
That does raise the question though; if you KNOW what your country is doing wrong, what do you do about it? In Hong Kong the citizens rose up and got the borders closed. In Canada, I was here arguing with people that this was serious shit, it's all in this thread on record. But most people were like the government - if WHO isn't saying it's serious, we're not going to listen to you. I went through the same thing on another forum, though they were much more receptive. But I went through it with friends on facebook, and then about masks until CDC and WHO finally agreed with the science.
Hindsight is 20:20 though right?
But nothing was at the same level of clusterfuck as the US if you read the tweets I posted...

Here's a comprehensive breakdown of the U.S. Timeline. As you can see, comparing dates, they took action, imposing proactive measures long before, and, that Canada, to this day, have not imposed.
And i know i don't need to tell you that comparing their figures to ours as a x10 equation would be ridiculous given the nature of exponential growth. You already know this.
If they had acted in the manner Canada has, their figures would likely be much much greater.

Many states still don't have shelter in place orders. April 1st trump told people to use a scarf. Today Theresa Tam said there is no scientific proof that homemade masks work. trump has said and done multiple things that have put people in danger.
The couple, both in their 60s, listened to President Donald Trump tout chloroquine, a decades-old antimalarial drug, as a very promising treatment for COVID-19 in a recent press conference. The woman, who asked not to be named, said she was familiar with the chemical because she used it to treat her koi fish.
"I saw it sitting on the back shelf and thought, 'Hey, isn't that the stuff they're talking about on TV?'" she told NBC News on Monday (March 23). "We were afraid of getting sick," she said.
So, the couple mixed a small amount of the parasite remover with a liquid before drinking the solution. Within 20 minutes, both of them became ill. The woman started vomiting and her husband experienced severe respiratory problems, NBC News reported. They called 911, and soon after arriving at the hospital the man died from cardiac arrest. The woman was initially in critical condition but is now stable and expected to fully recover.

What the fuck, even if it's safe to go, why would you want to with so many people geez
Stupid people all around the world. I think the same thing happened here a few weeks back with Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge or something.. had droves of people going for a hike during the initial lockdown.
1. ordered a mcdonalds hot fudge sundae and the hot fudge tasted like shit with bad aftertaste..blamed the mcdonalds
2. just got a bunch of oranges that had absolutely no taste..yet my wife says they are sweet and delicious.

Shit shouldn't taste good though LOL. Not that I ever tried it. Jokes aside.
Try eating some other types of food to make sure? Cuz like everyone taste buds are different. E.g. Food that tastes salty to my mom tastes bland as fuck to my dad, different taste buds.
As prescriptions for anti-malaria drug rise in Alberta, warning issued to doctors and pharmacists
They're reminding doctors and pharmacists that it is "not appropriate" to prescribe such medications for COVID-19 for two reasons.
The first is there is no evidence yet on the efficacy of the drugs on COVID-19 patients, though studies are underway. Second, prescribing the treatments could result in shortages for patients who suffer from chronic conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and HIV and rely on the drugs.
The guy has done a shit job and most people know it.

Here's our minister of health STILL defending the CCP and calling claims of their LIES "conspiracy theories" EVEN AFTER the U.S. Released the findings that anyone with a brain in their skull knew was hogwash for months.
CCP WHO bootlicking:
