I went out to the Canadian Tire in Langley the other day, some employees had masks, but the store was packed, and customers didn't have masks

And there's this article today about Guilford centre

I just googled that phone number and multiple pages of it being a scam phone number and not a legit gov't number. Just sayin.

In the past 4 days, I’ve seen a bunch of US plates: Alaska, Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, and even a New York plate.

Want to see a whole buncha American plates? Go to any Whole Foods parking lot, they're all there for some reason. A lot of them have roof racks filled with rec equipment too so not sure if they're resident here or whatever

Well of course, but who's going to enforce that? Just like the police having the ability to give ppl social distancing violation tickets, they only gave their 1st one out the other day

Impressed Alberta police gave out 7 tho

what if they don't pay those fines? can't they just bite their thumb at it, or is it as scary as a canadian not paying a fine in the US?

seems like limiting future access at the border would be a greater deterant to others than a fine...

Ticket? Fuck that, escorted back to the border and denied entry into Canada.

US is fucked. $200 for a covid test? I bet the numbers are way higher than reported because people don't want to pay for the test. At this rate, the border is never going to open up.

Alabama covid parties

50,000 positive cases 2 days in a row in the US and with the long weekend, I can see them hit a new high of 100,000 positive cases per day.

Former GOP candidate and trump supporter who attended trumps Tulsa rally in in a hospital for covid.

https://www.cnbc.com/2020/07/02/herm...-covid-19.html

Quote:
Former presidential candidate and onetime possible Fed board nominee Herman Cain was hospitalized Wednesday and is being treated for the coronavirus.
Cain, 74, was told Monday that he had tested positive for the disease, according to a statement posted to his official Twitter account. By Wednesday, he “had developed symptoms serious enough that he required hospitalization,” the statement said.
Cain was at President Donald Trump’s rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, last month, and was photographed sitting in close proximity with other attendees, none of whom appeared to be wearing masks.
