So restaurants are still allowed because of their safety measures... An empty table beside you... But having dinner at say your parents house where it's just your mom and dad or something will be banned for 2 weeks... Good luck with that... There's more risk at work than elsewhere. The whole safe 6 thig was flawed from the beginning. My safe 6 isn't the same as my best frjends safe 6 and someone in his will have others, etc and etc.. Just do a fucking privince wide lock down. Shut down bars and restaurants and start actually giving out tickets, not warnings. Halloween on granville should've had every cop there writting 2000$ tickets to every persom standing there.. |

It's tough for me to relate since I'm a homebody... But is it really that hard for everyone to just stay the fuck home and not have a gathering for 2 weeks? |
There seems to be mass confusion. I’m fully aware my parents can no longer come see the baby (even though we are extremely restricted and safe). But can we go for a walk? Or is that still considered gathering. Is it restricted to indoors only, or both indoor/outdoor and I can’t see anyone. (You know, ignoring the fact i see 6000+ strangers a day at my job) |

Not specifically directed at you, but I think the problem with that logic is that for many people who are already more exposed at work, will figure what difference does it make if they gather outside of work then. If they're in an office with 50 staff, then no difference being at a house party of 50. |
There’s a huge difference though if the office is taking all the required safety measures to be open. People aren’t doing that at a house party. |

I am in favor of this. Just removes most of the if, when, whos, and buts. There were so many people making personal loopholes for themselves out of pure convenience. Not a perfect plan, but hopeful that the message reaches enough people to flatten the curve somewhat. Have friends in nursing that have been waiting for something like this since they've been seeing the exponential increase for the last little while now. |

Still no mandatory face mask |
So, no dog walks with my parents? Can someone give me a firm yes or no, if the immediate household persons applies to both indoor and outdoor, or only indoor. |
It says just indoor. Edit: I misread. It’s unclear. |

once again small business taking the financial hit. white collar will just keep "working from home" with no difference. "essential business" (ie big business) will continue to operate as per before. the spin studio owner gets fucked. inconveniences are not hardships. losing income is a hardship. |

Gotta get my partying on till 10pm |
"2 weeks" just like how the border closure was "1 month" i seriously hope we're ready to deal with an increased alcohol and drug overdose too |
"2 Weeks" likely means "2 weeks at a time" and can evaluate what to do after each period. Either stronger lockdowns, or more relaxed. If people are responsible, numbers will start to show signs of flattening after 2 weeks. Expect at least 4 weeks though |
2 weeks to flatten the curve. Rinse repeat |

I feel every time COVID-19 restriction orders are issued, all the language is very vague but I do understand these orders have to be performance based. We don't need short order statements, we need details on what these orders entail or provide guidelines supporting these orders so we know what "compliance" looks like. It frustrates me that masks are still not mandated; even though I know even if it is, not everyone is going to wear it. But I do know people who are not wearing it is because it's not mandatory/required. I've stopped listening to these briefings since April because I do what I feel is safe and go way above and beyond to ensure the health and safety of my family. |
