And this morning Global is running a story essentially saying the Govt. is burying the care home statistics after the little mountain death toll of 35+ is revealed by digging through other documents etc. They then played a clip of Bonnie Henry talking about it and shes stuttering and back tracking all over the place which is completely out of character for her.. great..
I'm going to be a bit racist here.................
There's one group of humans who consistently lie, cheat, and steal. It's not any particular race, because they come from all kinds of backgrounds. It's called fucking politicians. I've only met a hand full of politicians that weren't corrupt or looking out after themselves. It's almost like a disease you get when you sign up to run for office.

Victoria’s city council is like 100x worse than Vancouver’s.
shit was going to spoil, so they ramped up and got it all administered. no red tape, no BS, no making sure just the right person gets it in just the right order. You're walking by the hospital and BAM - you're on your way to getting your life back
She has to get a second dose at some point as well right? Did they say when that will be?
In 21 or 28 days from now.
She's doing better today, but her arm is definitely swollen and sore.
Getting the vaccine definitely does not appear to be a walk in the park for sure, I'll still get one eventually, but considering her symptoms as a result, I'm in no rush
Unpopular opinion: I've had "Cold Tea" a few times in the past, mostly when I was a really young (Ah good ole' HKYK days)... lol does no one else find drinking flat Molson beer from a porcelain pot kind of disgusting? How desperate do you have to be to be pounding that for the sake of getting (more) wasted?
You just confirmed when
In your 20's when you're still trying to keep the party going, clubs are closed, and you're trying to take that bitty to bed with you @ 4AM, at that point in a molly or coke induced stupor, the beer tastes fine
My AFC gave me an ABS CEL code of LOL while at WOT!

That's not taking into account any complications in terms of COVID evolving itself as well.
The vaccine will not resolve this issue anytime soon here, there must be a long-term plan.
I've yet to hear of one.
the vaccine will absolutely solve our immediate problem. Everybody should have an opportunity to have it by the fall in canada. That is relatively soon.
if we can protect those who are vulnerable (the overwhelming majority of whom make up the toll on our health services) then it won't matter. As is often repeated in this thread, all we are doing is protecting our healthcare system. This has nothing to do and never will have to do with eradicating this disease (in the short term)
Who cares if you get it, if you can't kill your grandma anymore because she's immune, take a week off work and let society get back to 95%
We'll just live with it, and I will happily take my chances out there.
Did you just say that you're holding off on the vaccine because of a maybe sore arm?
You guys with bidets it’s fine just using the cold water line that feeds the toilet?
Global running yet another story about a professor at UBC that teaches in the public health sector (of which Bonnie Henry is on the board) also travelled abroad to Hawaii..

Run the bathroom tap with hot water so you're not kissed with the glacial tears of winter.
Tokyo going on lockdown now. Restaurants to close at 8pm. They did it a bit different though - any restaurants that close at 8pm will receive about $17K USD per month
Most of the rest of the lockdown is useless "suggestions" though
