Plus all his dbag FB friends all have the “Positive vibes. Don’t listen to the haters, you do you” attitude encouraging his reckless behaviour.

Well, to be fair its not like anyone has been telling him that clubbing is not encouraged right now or anything like that. Can't be his fault. SeemsGood

I honestly feel as though this is the exact mentality that has allowed certain shitty characters to fester and grow in numbers within society. The whole "you do you" thinking did immense harm to us when it came to covid. People unwilling to tell each other "hey, maybe that isn't a good idea right now" because they don't want to be perceived as killing good vibes. I probably lost one friend due to this but whatever, it's a GLOBAL PANDEMIC. I'm incredibly not sorry that your vibes aren't more important.

LOL, guy's a walking late-millennial stereotype. I had a double take to make sure the girlfriend wasn't this chick. Remember her?

She's a real winner too, she's been milking her COVID diagnosis online ever since, check the IG :lol

GLOW 01-11-2021 11:18 AM

not sure if i found hers, but didn't see anything related to covid. the top search result was someone with a MSc though the weird thing is it also says "former PhD"...when do you get a PhD revoked, you either have it or you don't, no?

From what I recall she was a former PhD candidate but instead quit and decided to hawk MLM financial products instead.

GLOW 01-11-2021 12:41 PM

sorry guys, old man GLOW's extent to the social media is knowing what "IG" is...i don't know what stories are :lol :okay:

i'll take your word for it :nyan:

CivicBlues 01-11-2021 01:15 PM

Dr. Bonnie's update for the past 3 days:

1475 new cases
27 deaths.

Total immunizations completed so far: 59 902.

Dr. Bonnie expects that all Pfizer vaccine received so far is to be used up today for more vaccinations. Of course, more shipments are on their way to B.C.

48 533 doses out of 50 thousand doses of Pfizer are used for vaccinations so far.

She mentions that vaccine supplies are "back loaded" meaning that B.C. will get a greater supply of vaccine in January compared to December, more vaccine in February, March, compared to January etc.

As per Dr. Bonnie, data from clinical trials shows the following vaccine efficacy rates:

Pfizer: efficacy rate 92.6 % after 2 weeks from first shot. efficacy rate increases to 95% after second shot.
Moderna: efficacy 92.1% after 2 weeks from firs shot. efficacy rate increases to 95.2% after second shot.

I don’t know a single person who’d got the vaccine, or even know they’re in line to get one.

twitchyzero 01-11-2021 02:20 PM

damn this thread was started a year ago

i owe skinnypupp an apology when he was posting unconfirmed numbers out of china from twitter and i scoffed asking to wait for actual data that was verifiable

never thought we'd reach 17k canadian deaths and how many billion dollars lost since then

also pretty incredible we got vaccines out in less than a year

A friend of mine, a psychiatrist, got his first Pfizer vaccine shot two weeks ago.

No side effects for him. He is getting his second shot soon.

Couple of friends have. Both work in hospitals.

underscore 01-11-2021 02:50 PM

I know things can change, but is the current vaccination plan/schedule for BC available somewhere? It'd be nice to have at least a vague idea of when I might have the opportunity to get it beyond the "all Canadians by Sept" I recall hearing from Trudeau.

twitchyzero 01-11-2021 02:54 PM

according to this rough calculator there's 5.6M before me (stage 1) and i'll have the two doses some time between Feb and May, Lol

westopher 01-11-2021 02:57 PM

Hmm about 22 million people in line before me lol.

Jmac 01-11-2021 03:09 PM

5.6M before me but my understanding is that I won't be able to take it due to possible anaphylaxis.
