I found it interesting that North Delta Rec used Vancouver Cruise Ship employees for the registration and intake. I heard Coquitlam used Air Canada.

Good to know that they're using industries affected.

Isn't it obvious? They literally injected it into your ARM.

Got my jab earlier today at Convention Centre. Also bought a box of Krispy Kreme from a fundraiser table on the curb.

6 hours later - arm is a bit sore, feels kind of like a charlie horse.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow! I gotta work all week cuz short staff.

I got pzifer at Riverrock, they got it down pat on running people thru.

I did feel week the day after, a bit tired, sore arms are a given.

Turns out the fever wasn't a fever but regardless I was tired.

I think it has something to do with the Charter of Rights. I know I sound like a FreeDuMbEr, but...

According to the Charter:

All Canadian citizens are free to move around Canada as you wish, barring extradition orders.

I'm thinking there is some kind of line between

1)"Ticketing residents of your own province for violating Provincial Health Orders"

and

2)"Barring Albertans (Canadians) from entering another Canadian Territory (BC)"

I think 1 is constitutional, but kinda silly if you're allowing OOP travelers

and 2 is most likely the better choice during a global pandemic, but it IS slightly unconstitutional.

Just my theory.

Overall I think they just don't want stoke any fires of "MUH RIGHTS!" and "MY FREEDOMS!"

At the heart of it is our democratic government vs. dictator approach. You can't have the cake and eat it too ... is that the saying?

China can make up rules and restrictions and people will listen. Here in Canada ... wear masks and people protest and have raliies.

The charter of rights and freedoms give the government the ability to remove parts of it when the emergency act is enacted, which is happening right now. You’re probably still right that it’s the reason and they’d rather not create a situation, but they are within their rights to do so.

God, can you just imagine what they'll spew at those freedumb rallies if this was imposed?

Prominent people (ie. MTG) are spewing bullshit about how this is akin to the holocaust, imagine what absolute morons with no IQ and a megaphone will say.

Also I remember seeing a tweet somewhere where one american idiot was like 'THE CONSTITUTION CAN NOT BE AMENDED!!!!!!!' and then someone asked what he thought the 2nd amendment was. Fucking idiots everywhere.

Just checked my health gateway (https://www.healthgateway.gov.bc.ca) and I'm moved up to June from August.

westopher 05-25-2021 10:50 AM

Zussman honestly should have a job as communications for the govt after this. He’s done better than anyone.

Hondaracer 05-25-2021 10:52 AM

It's not third party.

I didn’t say 3rd party. I signed up months ago to get my shot and heard nothing. So I signed up when they opened up the definition of frontline workers and got AZ within 3 days. Then I haven’t heard a word since. So do I have so sign up for a 3rd thing to get my second dose?

Whoops, misread. My bad.

This thing is something that was mentioned a couple pages back that has all your info for your visits/medical history.

You probably don't need to sign up to get your second does but it might show when you're eligible.

Bonnie Henry looks like she wants to cry from the emotional relief of making these announcements.
