It depends on area. Langford is a little less mask-ey. Victoria proper, I still see plenty. I was just at the big save on on blanshard, probably still about 70% masked. I think I notice more mask-less young people than old people (who have all had their second shots by now) And geez you came over and didn't swing by for a beer?
The surge in COVID-19 cases in B.C.'s Interior that has prompted new restrictions for Kelowna and surrounding communities continued Thursday, with health officials announcing 204 new infections in the province, 107 of them in the Interior Health region.
Is it just me or every other day, see people butt hurt over things that aren't what the intent is meant. The star given out really is to say good job for doing your part and getting vaccinated, from how I interpret it. People are taking things out of context.
Maybe it's just me, but fuck. When I was a kid in school, all my teachers in elementary would give us little star stickers on our school work if we did good work. E.g. Yellow star, gold star, red star, blue star, whatever the fuck color there was.

Glad I'm not the only one that thinks this. Kids these days are so fucking soft it's hilarious. Entitled AF and expect everything to be handed to them without putting in the hard work. Anything before college/uni, the schools just pass you, you can't fail anymore. This is so wrong and the kids are in for a rude awakening once they hit post secondary.
The mental health and race card are used so much these days that it's just getting ridiculous. I'm not saying that back in the old days these weren't an issue but it seems like every day now there's something about this brought up.

Charmin is soft, but strong at the same time...................... I apologize to the people who swear by Kirkland brand TP. I was being insensitive to their needs. Sensitivity, btw, is so important when you are suffering from hemorrhoids. To people suffering from hemmorroids, I apologize for...............

Dude, saying this is like a tale as old as time.
Your parents probably thought you were soft AF because you had everything handed to you and can get basically anything from a computer or smartphone
Their parents probably thought your parents were soft because they didn't have to go fight and die in a war
Their parents probably thought they were soft because they didn't have to live thru the depression
And their parents thought they were soft because they didn't have to till the fields for 15 hours a day for food.
Keep going back and we have this little diddy from circa 400 BC:
So maybe we should all just be thankful we can give our kids a better life than we had and stop acting like crotchety old men in our late 30s/40s. Plenty of time to turn into one later on.
My buddy in LA was saying this weekend between Lollapalooza, The Ozark lakes thing and all the EDM festivals it’s going to be real interesting in the next 2-3 weeks. Hundreds of thousands of people congregating and then returning to where they live potentially loaded up with Delta variant…. Weeeee

I’m only 32 but I’m officially super fucking old (and happy about it). I don’t know a single one of these “artists” the article mentions, and I don’t care to either.
- da baby
- princess nokia
- kenji chan
- Trevor Daniel
- tai verdes
- Max schneider
- flipp dinero
One of the comments in the article is great. We all sacrificed so much over the last year. No school, staying home, no sports, no weddings, no Christmas, no Halloween etc and this is the kind of thanks we get
