So why single only one out? Alcohol is deemed essential service yet fitness is not.
The government needs to be more transparent to get more people on board. They release mandates with no logical explanations. For example the blockade on the coquihalla using a large amount of resources discouraging people to travel in a car by themselves, but you were able to travel on a fully loaded plane between kelowna and Vancouver.

Not getting vaccinated isn’t a lifestyle flaw. It’s literally 45 minutes.
Not to mention there are other medical and genetic factors at play when speaking about obesity, addictions, etc.
Choosing not to get vaccinated is a simple yes or no question.
You don’t just say “yes I’ll be obese now”
I agree with you about transparency for the most part, however so many people are too stupid to even process the information and they twist it to fit a narrative.
“First they tell me masks aren’t necessary then they say the are? WHICH IS IT DOCTOR BONNIE HITLER?”
They can be as transparent as they want about the science behind it yet you still have dickheads saying that the mask doesn’t filter drywall dust so there’s no possibility of it having any positive effect.

Kenny has changed his mind again. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/edmon...ance-1.6139832 Quote:
Alberta public health measures set to expire on Monday will remain in place for another six weeks, while newly announced back-to-school guidelines don't mandate in-class masks but will include school-based vaccinations, Alberta's top public health doctor announced Friday.
Dr. Deena Hinshaw, Alberta's chief medical officer of health, also announced that mandatory isolation for 10 days for those with COVID-19 symptoms or a positive test result will also continue until Sept. 27.
| I kind of feel sorry for Hinshaw.

Alberta is fucked.
My mom had to be hospitalized on Tuesday. First she went to the hospital and they turned her away. She went back to her doctor and he was like fuck that I’m getting you an ambulance. They finally saw her after that, and about 5 hours of waiting, but luckily paramedics could give her pain meds for the wait at least.
Meanwhile cheeseburger walrus is cutting doctors and nurses in droves.
Back to the point, why the fuck are we treating people who have essentially made a decision to get sick over people with cancer and other illnesses are having their treatments delayed?
What makes a covid patient more important than someone else? I understand how triage works, and it’s not working the way it’s supposed to here.
Kenney is a fucking piece of shit. Hopefully his actions will come full circle and there will be no room for him when he needs it.

When Kenny was up for election, my buddy saw him sitting in an empty theatre all by himself waiting for a movie to start..........
His life after office is going to be much the same. No friends, no allies... just a piece of shit with a stench nobody wants to be near.
Sorry for your mom westopher, I hope she gets the care she needs and recovers well. I was mad like 3 years ago when I had my surgeries cancelled 3 days in a row at Richmond Hospital for my broken cheekbone and had to starve myself every day and sit in intense pain waiting more and more because they kept bumping me for c-sections... the nurse rolled her eyes the third time and muttered "tourist babies from China" as she walked away... angry as I was at that being the reason, I can't imagine how much more mad I would have been if it was Covid people that kept me in that state.

Do they have stats on what percentage of people in ICU or the hospital have had two doses of the vaccine? That would tell us a lot about if the vaccine is effective or not.

Alberta is 80% unvaccinated, 11% 1 dose, 9% two doses
They also mentioned the majority of the fully vaccinated people in the hospital are severely immunocompromised.
When talking about ICU cases the fully vaccinated percentage drops further.
There’s definitely some clarity that they are effective.

I saw an article today saying as of July 31 95% of new cases in BC is Delta variant. I think there was reports from the states that 99% of the people who end up in hospitals are anti Vax, so thanks for getting them off the streets away from the public.

Lol if they were that bad and their cases were as comparable to us as they are we’d definitely know the vaccines are NOT helping.

It's also important to note that these patients are all eager to get the shot once they are strong enough to do so.
