Are you fucking kidding me? https://www.theglobeandmail.com/cana...-exemption-to/ Quote:
Alberta Premier Jason Kenney said he has asked health officials to explore whether evidence of naturally acquired COVID-19 antibodies could be used in lieu of proof-of-vaccine under the province’s new passport system.

In that case all of Alberta should be eligible by November.

I thought (can’t remember where it was) that I saw a chart… might have even been on CNN of all places… but it said actually the best combo for protection was antibodies from Covid + a mRNA vaccine
Probably not the way anyone WANTS to go but I believe it was reported to be the most effective.

According to News 1130: https://www.citynews1130.com/2021/09...-kids-5-to-11/ Quote:
For elementary school-aged kids, Pfizer tested a much lower dose — a third of the amount that’s in each shot given now. Yet after their second dose, children ages 5 to 11 developed coronavirus-fighting antibody levels just as strong as teenagers and young adults.
The kid dosage also proved safe, with similar or fewer temporary side effects — such as sore arms, fever or achiness — that teens experience, he said.
| So what is their rationale for being OK with getting the vaccines themselves, but not using a similar but far lower dosage vaccine on their most precious family member? If it was a choice between protecting the kid or protecting myself, I'd always go with protecting the kid first -- 10 times out of 10.
That logic just doesn't make sense. Quote:

A guy called into 980 one day regarding vaccines with children and he quoted some reputable sources and studies (I can’t recall the exact ones but they at least sounded like reputable establishments etc.) where the mortality and even severe cases of COVID19 in children were virtually non-existent and traditional colds and flus put kids in the ER at almost double the rate of covid
I guess the argument for vaccines in young children is always being less transmissible etc. But if it’s just going to become the new flu shot anyways I guess it’s either now or later on once it’s become the norm anyways

They even got what they wanted… much more studying and data to “do their own research” but it’s still not good enough. Surprise surprise.
What they really need is a time machine so they can figure out what happened in the future and see if little Johnny survives or not. Don’t we all, don’t we all….

So some businesses in texas are turning customers away if they wear masks, some gun shops, bars, etc
Here's a story about a restaurant that turned a couple away https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...estaurant.html |

I can already hear what the covidiot naysayers are gonna say:
Out of BC's 5M people, we have 156 COVID patients in ICU, and you want me to inject this foreign and insufficiently tested substance into my body so that I can avoid becoming one of these 156 people in the ICU?!?
I'll take my chances, thank you very much. And it is my freedom to not wear any masks and continue to socialize without one. |

UGHHHH... we have a little Coachella discussion group for some people we regularly meet up with when we're down there every year... obviously the conversation's been dead because of Covid... but with Coachella supposedly happening this time for April 2022 someone posted a "205 days until Coachella guys!" update and one of the 2 guys from California we hang out with the most was like "Well, best get this out of the way, who got the shot?" and all the people from Canada are like yup, got it, had it for quite awhile blah blah.
Both him and the other guy from Cali are like "Me and xxxx are pure bloods! Antibody maximimilast" and started posting meme's saying they're "dodging the shot" with Matrix clips... and other memes bragging about not being jabbed yet.
I would consider both these guys to be pretty reasonable people... DJ's for clubs... car enthusiasts... not stupid by any means... but man oh man if that's what they're dealing with down there............................ no wonder they're in such a shit place.
I'm curious what's going to happen though, pretty sure with California being as liberal a state as it gets that they will be requiring vaccination proof of some sort to get in to the festival. Then again, would assume there will be lots of ways to fraud the system by then as well....

| Ehhhhhh those are two groups that are pretty susceptible to this shit though. Watching some of the covid talk on the car groups on fb it's just like, ok, this hobby is absolutely swimming in fucking morons.

The weirdest part is that there's a sort of culture building around this lunacy... They have little names and slogans and everything.
It is mind blowing... We've cured diseases this way, were people like this back then too?
WHY ARE PEOPLE SO STUPID???

WHY ARE PEOPLE SO STUPID??? | I'm sure stupid people existed back then too, but they weren't given a platform to aggregate their collective stupidity to somehow legitimize their ridiculous "views". Plus healthcare wasn't as good back then so whatever virus they were denying probably took care of them.

You know what I've noticed, what's happening in Afghanistan is bad but you never see them wear masks in videos or pictures, but also you don't see massive number of their people dying or sick and I doubt they are highly vaccinated meanwhile in Alberta |

With regard to Afghanistan, most their population is young, but they also haven't really done any testing, 500k tests since covid began, for a population of 40million!
People who die/died were just assumed to be ill and of poor health, of those tested, up until the return of the taliban, 42% were covid positive
Since the mass "rescue" of talented Afghans, there's been a void of skilled workers, so I imagine the testing rate has plummeted https://www.npr.org/sections/goatsan...hanistans-woes
An article from a few months ago, no cpap machines or hospital beds plus a lack of oxygen tanks and a dwindling medical team who are overworked and exhausted
