Wow. Kelowna RCMP news conference is happening right now. The police are looking to see if that lady and other Covidiot protesters at the Kelowna ceremony on Remembrance Day committed crimes.
Crown Counsel is going to determine if criminal charges would be pursued against those Covidiots.
Canadian Criminal Code Section 176 Subsection 2:
176(2) Every one who wilfully disturbs or interrupts an assemblage of persons met for religious worship or for a moral, social or benevolent purpose is guilty of an offence punishable on summary conviction.
I hope that police charge those motherfuckers under section 176 of the Canadian Criminal Code.
Those Covidiots are fucked now.

Not really. Summary convictions are very minor.
Most likely nothing will come of it as the time and effort for what is gained is too little. Crown most likely won't approve the charges.

Imagine being so blitzed in the head that you think there are "pro vaxxers" who would go around defacing memorials, rather than "pro vaxxers" just being "normal people"

unless it's politically driven to make a point, like someone in office wanting to gain points off of it and take credit
British Columbians who need to cross the Canada/U.S. border in order to get around the flooded highways to get home will not be subject to the usual COVID019 testing requirements when they cross the line.
Mudslides have led to closures on Highways 1, 5, 3, and 99, effectively cutting Metro Vancouver off from the rest of the province and Canada.
Canada Border Services has confirmed with CityNews there will be exemptions to PCR testing rules if people need to get past the blockages by driving through the U.S. to get home.
One such example would be someone who flew into Vancouver and needs to get to the B.C. Interior.
I'm sure the entire PR would be very happy to hear about the news.
As for myself, I'm gonna wait a bit more before heading down there so that other drivers can buy up all the 2-year stale gas that PR has in their tanks before fueling up down there LOL~
I've been reading reports that most European countries are having massive outbreaks again France is like on their 5th wave? I guess they rather protest, die and have no Christmas than get the shot.
IIRC, Austria is one of the countries with a vaccination rate that is on the lower end in Western Europe. So again, it is very much a matter of the pandemic among the unvaccinated. (And when the unvaccinated get sick, there will be breakthrough cases among the vaccinated population as well, and then the anti-vaxxers will cite this as evidence of the vaccine being useless... )
Travel vloggers are all back in full force throughout Europe.
One New York Times article doesn’t tell the whole story. For the most part it seems like Western Europe is open for business as they realize you need to essentially force normality back at some point.

This ironic juxtaposition never fails to amuse me.

Thought this was interesting from Russell brand. Pfizer covid trials were contracted out, one of those companies, Ventavia is being called out for shoddy practices

I think he's just pointing out how institutions/corporations cut corners, and if we're going to take things seriously we need to be on the ball at every level.
Probably trying to get some attention on the fda too for some accountability, instead of just them shrugging things off
Ultimately tho I think he's just trying to get news out there that he otherwise feels will be buried by the media, and letting you decide on your own how to interpret it
