Word on the news this morning was bonnie basically said yesterday that real case numbers are probably x4 of what's reported? As home tests aren't counted, and test system is at max capacity already. So lots of positives around that have not been confirmed. So we're realistically at 10000 Cases a day. |
^ Yup ... |
Feelin better with Covid than without? And yea, the home test you have no obligation to report. I signed in and it was a big thing so just closed the window. Thanks |

Funny story, so i know this anti vax couple whose lied about being vaccinated to hangout with the vaxxed crowd. Anyways the girl got pretty sick and took a rapid test and it came back negative. She proceeded to see everyone in her household(about 10 people) and everyone quickly became ssick. A couple members take the PCR? Test and all come back positive. From what i hear they are all in bed pretty sick. I should mention the whole household are antivaxxers. |

but even though she may be sick / have symptoms, she may not have developed a high enough viral load to trigger a positive at time of test - so how can she blame the test? i guess if she's anti-vax it wouldn't matter to her... |
Simply put. As time goes on new covid variants are gonna come. Most likely they will be milder. This cycle will take about 5 years give or take after which it will be like the flu. Mask are here to stay. Vaccination will be yearly thing |
Spanish flu lasted 60 years You guys thinking covids gonna last 2? Lol |

3-ish? They didn’t have vaccines or preventative pills back then. |
We'll flatten the curve in a month, 2 months tops. Then we'll be back to normal. Swear. |

Why is anyone worried about anyone else on vacation right now, they are at no more risk than you are. |

Let me explain why I am worried about those two friends. They wanna visit me and my wifey after their Hawaiian vacay. -definitely a risk of exposure to Omicron in Hawaii too. That puts me and my wife at risk. I am gonna have to talk with those friends. A family doctor and a psychiatrist couple of friend does not put my mind at ease despite their greater knowledge about Covid and variants compared to me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Seeing anyone is a "risk" at this point, this baby spreads like wildfire. |

The big difference is that those friends would be in contact with many people from all over the world in Hawaii. My wife and I work at home. My list of contacts outside of the home only include people at a super market. I do all the grocery shopping. No contact with friends or relatives. We ask a food delivery person to drop off orders outside of our home. No meals at restaurants. If you add people to your home who have been contact with who knows how many people in Hawaii, on a plane, an airport etc. then the risk of exposure is multiplied exponentially. Think about the contact tracing. One more thing. My wife and I had PCR tests Already. Negative tests. Who said that everyone will get Covid or the variant eventually? Why would I put me and my wifey at a higher risk of exposure given than our list of contacts is quite small now? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
