My wife got her booster yesterday which was moderna. She's laying in bed right now feeling like crap, had to take the day off.

I get my booster this afternoon, not looking forward to it.

Our previous 2 shots were Pfizer and all we had were sore arms.

Hondaracer 01-27-2022 08:26 AM

Booster worse than Covid?

Great68 01-27-2022 08:35 AM

Dunno, I don't know if either of us ever actually officially had covid or not.

blkgsr 01-27-2022 08:47 AM

my moderna shot shot had me feeling better than after my AZ and P shots.

just a sore arm and actually my P shot wasn't that bad either.

This. If my work followed protocol and you had to isolate for known exposure, we’d be shut down for weeks.

Easier to let everyone get sick while simultaneously slashing the payroll budget so the remaining poor saps get worked to death in a stressful environment

OTTAWA — Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says he is isolating at home after learning that he was exposed to someone who had tested positive for COVID-19.

The prime minister says in a tweet that he learned about the exposure just last night.

He says the result of a rapid antigen test he took was negative, but he is following local public health rules and isolating for five days.

Trudeau says he will be working from home during that stretch.

Several of Trudeau’s cabinet ministers in recent weeks have had to isolate after positive tests, or because they were potentially exposed to the virus.

Trudeau is set to call foreign leaders today and address the Liberal caucus at a virtual retreat.

This report by The Canadian Press was first published Jan. 27, 2022.

:lol :lol :lol

Can't wait to see the FB/IG posts from the knuckle draggers.

I found out about the "freedom convoy" set up by idiot "wexits" and raised like $4 million in gofundme WutFace

I wonder if people will be as quick to support breaking this one up as they are with first nations blockades? $4 million raised, maybe not?

The world is going to shit

Elon’s on a big freedom kick today… cuz you know… there’s so little liberty in life when you only have 240 billion dollars.

I’m sure the truckers and people having a tough time eating at their favourite restaurant share a real kinship with him over how limited their life has become.

They are going to Ottawa to over throw the government. From what Im reading on facebook they claim they have 50k truckers coming from Canada and another 50K from the US. LOL.

One of the organizers of the trucker convoy.

I've seen lots of big claims, but reused footage from completely unrelated events so I have my doubts lol.

I have to go through three pages of Captchas identifying what a traffic light looks like but suddenly your digital image checker can tell with absolute accuracy that picture of a penis is NOT the same a signature?

3rd time in 2 months and 6th time since 2020 that I have to quarantine at home because someone at work tested positive for covid.
Good thing I have the option to WFH.

So far no symptoms.

Just glad my employer isn't pushing the back to office mandate.

Your employer doesn’t have proper procedures in place. There’s no need to quarantine even with close contact with a positive case if you’re fully vaccinated

Unless when you say quarantine you just mean shifting back to WFH

No, we have proper procedures in place. National company that is publicly traded, we are going above the "recommended" policy by Bonnie Henry.

Being told to stay away from the office and to work from home for the next 5 days and 10 days if I show symptoms.
Coworker recovered from Omicron 2 weeks ago and he isn't allowed back to the office either.

Hondaracer 01-28-2022 09:10 AM

Lol..so I work for a company that is probably within the same bracket if not larger, WITH doctors on staff..and given our workforce is mostly technicians who need to be present to do jobs we follow the lesser guidelines

Although a friend of mine who is in charge of health and safety for a huge company that deals with the ports etc. also goes by BC’s guidelines.

The Canucks were just following the minimum guidelines last year too...look at how well it turned out for them. They have doctors on staff too, didn't they?
