I can't remember where I took this photo from... but it was hilarious.

Imagine 2 dudes crossfiring their urine stream cause they're both standing 3 ft away.

I was standing in line at the grocery store about a year ago, and some dude had 8 bottles of lemon juice, I asked him what's up with that

He said it's to prevent kidney stones, he mixes it with water or something and drinks it daily.
Not sure how true it is, but I keep hearing about so many guys dealing with kidney stones, might be worth the effort

The Producer 03-17-2023 01:01 PM

i drank 2-3 liters of lemon water per day

always by flushing

unit 03-17-2023 02:31 PM

srs question, don't you worry about fucking up your tooth enamel by covering it in acid all day long? maybe drink with a straw?

The Producer 03-17-2023 02:36 PM

you know how I know you've never had a kidney stone?

i see what you're saying, but your tooth enamel is not what you're concerned about at the time.

Cause for celebration: masks are no longer mandatory in hospitals!

I'll still wear them when dealing with patients up close but otherwise I'm SO done with this shit lol.

Forgot to post this. All the people who said "covid is just like the flu" well now you're correct. Just a few years and a few million deaths too early to make that argument.

Japan lifted all regulations today as well

First post Jan 21, 2020.

What an insane few years, who would've thought. On so many fronts, socially, politically, etc. Maybe we should commemorate the end by locking this thread and hopefully we can all move forward with our lives.

SkinnyPupp 05-08-2023 04:54 AM

This and the 9/11 thread are the two Revscene threads that will live forever in my mind. I still remember when I woke up, did my usual check email and forums, and saw a thread titled "omg they hit the pentagon too!" and was like... wtffffffff?

This thread was similar, where you knew life wouldn't be the same from the time the first post was made by Mr HappySlip

While WHO has declared the COVID pandemic to be over, it is important to remember that the disease is simply being downgraded from "pandemic" to "endemic" level.

Was talking to a friend over the weekend that he knew an older person who has just recovered from COVID, but is continuing to suffer from brain fog, and can't function too well with his normal daily life and activities.

Let's hope the virus will continue to get weaker.

Both my elderly in-laws and my grandma got it this week. Many more we know of as well. Seems to be spreading pretty quick. Somehow I’ve evaded it, or just spread it

This thread should be laid to rest.

My god did we ever have many a bloody debate of the same crap in circular arguments :lol

Looking back many of us were very hyperbolic, while some downplayed things to a massive degree.

It's hard to articulate how much our mindsets have changed going back to 2020 to today, that part is truly fascinating. So many wrong predictions, wrong expectations.

Here we are totally back to normal, the things humans yearn for have remained static, things we thought would die and go away haven't, and yet from a fiscal and cultural perspective, much has changed.

Not to toot my own horn, but my takes were all proven to be right based on current knowledge at the time.. There were some absolute brain dead posters here, and yeah some hyperbole as people were understandably freaking out.

That is pretty rare for me so I am pretty pleased with myself LUL

spoon.ek9 05-08-2023 08:00 PM

This has to have been the most important thread I have seen and been a part of on this forum during my time here. I just hope we don't see anything like this again in our lifetimes and the lifetimes of our children.

Now that it's 'over', does this mean Mr.HappySilp can come back?

If his wife let's him.

Came across this interesting piece of news being reported in DW News -- the Germany state-owned international broadcaster recently:

Obivously I am not anti-vax, but I still feel like this will give anti-vaxxers a field day, with a lot of "I-told-you-so" sort of thing. Still, I'd say that when you look at the scientific evidence, the COVID vaccines have been extremely safe and effective.

But of course the antivaxxers will distort news like this to suit their narrative, and many of those non-thinking idiots will just lap it all up.

When you watch those prescription medicine commercials - they list a million different life altering symptoms you could potentially get. Which means those occurred to someone in the trials. Doesn't matter if it is a vaccine or medicine, some people will always get side effects.
