This is one of the greatest EV's i've ever seen hahaha. What was seen as one of the most ridiculous SUV's has once again redesigned itself into another class of ridiculous of its own.
GM chat said you have to call your local GM dealer. Local dealer did not have much info the guy on the phone was watching the video when I called. Took my info and will calll when he has some more info.

One really has to be a hardcore Hummer fan to spend that kind of dough over the Cybertruck.
I'm biased AF... but still... I just don't see it.
Gone are the "military" look of the original humvee, yet it's still basically a brick where every angle punishes the efficiency of the vehicle. I was really expecting a Bollinger/Benz G-wagon-esque design with modern touches.
It's more expensive at over 112k and god knows what would go into the "optional" list. And assuming the range figure is actually correct, roughly 250km less than the tri-motor CT.
Spec sheet vs. spec sheet, I've yet seen a single metric where it beats the CT. A simple 0-60... they kept using the term "around 3sec" when Tesla is using "under 3sec"... that alone speaks confidence of your product.
And 0 innovative design elements. Tesla CT is off the chart... but polarizing design aside, the integrated ramp, the bullet proof metal, tonneau cover all make a lot of sense. Even company such as Rivian and Bollinger have through compartment that allows some interesting storage options and utilities.
Hummer EV got what? Targa roof on a mother fucking truck? It's like those convertible SUV like Nissan Murano/Range Rover Evoque...
And really... given their timelines, if I were a GM shareholder, I'd be worried af. It shows how far their development and cost is behind of Tesla. When the market leader is planning to sell their top-of-line product at the same price of your base model... I think there's a lot more going on in there than market differentiation.
The fist edition hummer in the US is sold out. I went to the local GM dealership yesterday and they did not know anything more than what the video showed. You will not be able to order one until sometime next fall in Canada. I think GM in failed. Tesla is still taking orders for the cybertruck but in the US the hummer is sold out and in Canada you can't even order one.
