Canadian Murci Sv in China

Being originally a Canadian car how hard would it be to ship it back to Canada without taking it apart. someone here must have some connections.

Could it be this car that was listed at Calgary Lamborghini but located in Vancouver?

2 Difficult points:

1. Shipping the thing out of China, solvable with the right connections in China.

2. Getting the title back. This is the tricky one, even if the car was originally registered in Canada. Paperwork will lead to the last owner in Canada, and from there, I can see all sort of legal loops to go through with affidavits and whatnot... but without putting any further work into, it's a very complex thing just off my head and it's not guaranteed to work as I can't seem to find this being something "usual" and hence no pre-established steps. You'd have to creatively come up with a strategy (like VinWiki had done) and hope that they could work.

didnt someone on here buy a car without registry

you send a registered letter to the last known address of the last owner and if no response, icbc gives you the ownership papers

Checked ICBC's site and got this. So it looks like it may have been insured in Canada before going to China. Vin ZHWBC8AH5ALA03876 Year: 2010

Ed from vinwiki had a plan, but then the seller wanted cash, which made the deal way too risky and sketchy.

Could be the one SR had or it could be Miles End SV which they had for sale few years back but that was bought by Rhyno. Pretty sure SR and few other exotic dealers would be all over this car if it was easy to export out of China and if this is actually a legit offer to buy.

And if there's a response?

What about an RS group buy of this Lambo?

Use this Murci SV as a "car sharing" vehicle among members. :lawl:

Although it's not at the same level of performance as the Aventador SVJ in my avtar, it's still a fast ride.

TouringTeg 02-19-2020 02:36 PM

I wonder if it would be any easier to bring it back to Canada.

The Murci SV is the better investment assuming it's clean. I had a deposit on the SVJ but decided against it because they're already plunging in value. They built too many of them.

Edit: This was the other white Murci SV which sold a few years back to a Lambo collector in Kelowna. There's also a local black car which belongs to my friend, he's a Lambo collector as well.

Spotted in BH with bc plates in 2013:

And it's sold.

Wow! The email account to inquire about the no-title SV has gotten 46 serious inquiries. It appears to be sold and not coming to the US, but if you are still interested there may be time. Here's the story in case you missed it: https://youtu.be/rIbZqucAMTo

I've done it, how I got my project "Diirty FreeEK"

I have a huge timesaving tip if anyone is doing this. Don't mail or fax icbc in North Van, show up there in person.

afaik car exporting from China is not technically allowed, but as with all things in China there's probably a loophole :lol

How many of these were in Vancouver? There used to be one I saw frequently on the way home. The guy always had some sort of luxury or supercar in front of his home. Photo taken in 2011
