So most Autoplan offices are closed or not open to public now?

I ordered these legs about 6 weeks ago and combined it with the gerton ikea table top which I stained and coated. The primecable legs were the cheapest and seem to be very solid.

If you're going to get one of these desks I would recommend getting some wire racks to organize the cables as the storage thats available with the legs themselves isn't enough (in my case at least).

That's a pretty nice setup. What kind of chair are you using?

Originally, I was thinking of picking up 2x Alex drawer units (https://www.ikea.com/ca/en/p/alex-dr...hite-10373037/) from Ikea and placing an Ikea countertop (https://www.ikea.com/ca/en/p/karlby-...neer-50335208/) on top and call it a day. However, the shipping during the checkout process said it'd take a minimum of 6 weeks :alone:

Most are closed for walk-in service, but you can call them and have things done over the phone.

Is that a Steelecase Gesture? Was it worth the price?

Yes its the steelcase gesture. Picked it up for $1250 at modern office furnishing. Its incredibly comfortable and adjustable. Have not had any back issues since using it for 6 weeks now.

I have been sitting my ass in this chair for like 10-12 hours a day since I'm stuck at home.

I'd say its worth the money but my company covered it so I shouldn't really comment on value.

As you can see I have an alex drawer beside. I was using 1 of those and a simple ikea leg prior to getting the sit/stand desk. I would have stuck with that setup but I figured I would want to stand up working from home every once in a while. Standing is great for when I'm giving webinar presentations.

I've heard some restaurants and bakeries will sell you yeast, I'd call around.

SkinnyPupp 04-17-2020 02:05 PM

If you guys really need yeast, I can get some. Maybe I could ship a few boxes (about 50g each IIRC) to one person and they can distribute from there?

CivicBlues 04-17-2020 02:59 PM

Christ do we seriously need to be sourcing and shipping every little thing from across town and around the world right now? Yeast is not an essential item. Bread is in abundant supply. Get a different hobby in the interim.

Hondaracer 04-17-2020 03:09 PM

Found yeast yesterday just go anywhere but the big stores really.

Dude it's all about baking bread and watching Tiger King while getting drunk.

Then use your hoarded abundance of TP the next morning to wipe the road tar that musically shot out your flesh bassoon.

This is one of the vilest methods of describing a bad shit I've ever seen.

IMO people are free to cope however they want, as long as it is within proper social distancing and stay-home practices. I don't see how anyone would even consider telling people to "get a new hobby to do at home" in these times :seriously:

The one at Metrotown outside T&T was open when I went for groceries.

Traum 04-17-2020 09:00 PM

If anyone needs yeast, I was at the Kingsway & Wellingdon Save on Foods earlier today. They had these 3-pak yeast selling for $1.99, and there were quite a few of them.

It seems hella expensive for just 3 tiny packs of yeast. I'm just gonna stick to buying the grocery stores' baked in-house type of stuff until they run out of bread to sell.

How are postal workers supposed to do that if people are mailing mickey mouse stuff like yeast halfway around the world?

As opposed to literally anything else someone wants to buy online to keep themselves sane?
