importing Honda Super Cub (passport) from japan

I have a soft spot for Honda Super Cubs and looking to purchase one as my first bike.

There are slim pickings here in Vancouver and I'm wondering if anyone here has imported a bike from Goobike in Japan or know of a good place to do so?

Also in for info, was looking into some 50cc scooters and they're waaay cheaper in Japan. From my limited research it appears they follow the same 15 years rule and has to have had a comparable model sold here

If your looking for personalized help, tony at japaneseusedcars.com
He deals mostly with cars, but could be worth the email if its something specific your looking for.
They take care of all the japan-end paperwork, bike/car arrives to the port of your choice here, and you (or get a broker) to deal with the paperwork here.

bike cost + 2000$ in fees is what your most likely looking at. 1000$ to ship, 1000$ for cleaning of foreign soils, inspection, clearance, making road legal, etc.

eidt: check the registrar of vehicles to make sure its admissible to canada.

Talk to windbell motorcycles in North Vancouver. They import and work on jdm bikes.
