Contesting Traffic Tickets during COV19

Anyone contest a ticket while the courts have been back logged? Have they been processing your disputes? have the officers been showing up for their court dates? Are they being dismissed ?

1. Yes
2. Yes
3. No. Maybe so. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200.

On the related note, anyone tried asking for a reduction in the ticketed amount? Any data points in what's the appx reduction? Is it greater than the $25 by paying early?

Important Notice
Certain Motor Vehicle Act offences have a minimum fine and cannot be reduced
Anyone know the minimum for speeding?

I am still in the process with my ticket.
Was given a date in May, showed up at Robson courts and there was a notice on the board that said Traffic court was closed for the week and I am still waiting for a new date.

But that was my experience, doesn't mean it is the same for others. YMMV

In case anyone is curious, just got my new court date for next month so yes things continue to go on as usual during this pandemic.
