The thing is, the cap is not a twist off, so I had to get one of these for the backyard patio.......

You drink em straight? Not used as a mixer?

Hey welcome back.

I drink them straight most of the time. I mixed it with whiskey once and ended up drinking way too much.

It's a bummer it's not a twist cap, super inconvenient when I want to quickly get a drink.

I gargle with it.

Saw this at costco today. Had to get it, because pineapple ............. :ifyouknow:

MG1 06-16-2021 08:02 PM

Damn, the Fanta Pineapple is so damn good. I’ve had family and friends wanting their own. I went about an hour ago and there were a handful left. Also, haven’t been to Costco at the end of the day for quite some time. Seniors hour for me these days. Anyway the place was half empty of product. One of the workers told me today was a slow day. Damn. Most if not all hand sanitizers wipes and masks were being blown out. KN95 masks that used to be 39.95 were being reduced to $9.95.

lilaznviper 06-17-2021 01:23 PM

went near closing yesterday to costco and saw half a pallet of lysol wipes

Which location did you go to? KN95 masks for $9.95 sounds like a steal

Four days ago two full pallets. well, 1 and 4/5.

KN95's were at the Willingdon. Went today, none left. I plan to wear masks all the time now. Especially when I'm at the casinos.

Fanta Pineapple was back in stock.

Kelowna Costco is terrible for this; picked over by late afternoon every time we are there. Went to Kamloops Costco last weekend and it was eerie to see a store much quieter and with everything in stock.

Teriyaki 06-17-2021 11:18 PM

Richmond Costco about half a skid of the KN95s when I walked in. They're right by the entrance.
About quarter a skid left when I left.
They're individually packed and fold flat. Be nice to just throw them everywhere for emergency use and whatnot.

Why are people still buying these? It's not fucking April 2020 anymore. Formite transmission is proven not be a viable vector for COVID-19. Work on improving ventilation in indoor spaces. Stop filling up landfills and messing with our immune systems lysol-ing everything.

People will always take comfort in physical actions rather than controlling the direction of something they can't see or feel the results of.

Which is why we need a new public service campaign:
"Skip the wipe down, keep the windows up"

I got this last week for $189 and imo its a really good deal. Other comparable benches i see being twice as much. I needed a bench for me to work on my little projects in my garage and it also replaces my 5 year old small 5 drawer tool box which i surprisingly sold on FB for $150 within an hour. I think i bought it originally for that much. The bench is twice the size of my old one, and with the 3 drawers, has top storage, and bottom storage and u can store tools underneath the wood piece aswell.

PeanutButter 06-23-2021 09:51 AM

I saw that the other day and commented to the wife it was a really good deal and she just laughed at me and we moved on...

It would be nice if it came with wheels

MG1 06-23-2021 10:47 AM

You need to fix more stuff around the house for her..........

The first present my wife ever gave me while I was dating her, was a Black and Decker Work Mate, lol. She loved the fact I was a handy man. I was really into woodworking back then. Anyway, you can always add wheels. Just about everything in my garage is on wheels. You can store way more stuff if they're on wheels. If only I can remember where I put stuff, gulolol.

I think I need to start a YouTube channel with all these projects. Lol.

Finished the restore. Got pretty fed up halfway through and started half assing the job. Side tables will need to be stripped and redone. Fliptuner gave me a burner set but sadly it doesn’t fit. I actually chopped and welded it in more places then I’d of be willing to tell an insurance company. Sadly it’s still not quite right. So once I get the burner situation figured out, I’ll purchase the new flavoruizer bars and start Cookin.

The before and after photos don’t make me feel great. That was a shit ton of work but looks way better in person. Haha. Gross greasy work.

Red Velvet Cream Cheese cake for Canada Day.

Was going to wait until Canada Day to buy it, but realized Costco gonna be closed on our nation's birthday.

For the first time since January of 2019, I finally found Lysol wipes and Steinfeld baby dill pickles at the Langley Costco FeelsGoodMan

MG1 08-02-2021 05:49 PM

All good things must come to an end. Seniors hour will cease to exist as of August 23. And, they’re open today until normal weekday 8:30 pm closing. For sure I thought they’d be closed for civic holiday.

Has anyone seen the Clicgear 4.0 golf cart locally? I missed out on the Caddytek golf cart a few months back.

MG1 08-03-2021 10:09 AM

Damn, I purchased a case of Starbucks Double Shot Espresso. So good at ice cold temperatures. They were on sale, too. Unfortunately all sold out. Good news is, they’ll be back in stock in a couple of days. AND, they’re on sale till the 8th of August. One of their most popular items, according to one of the workers.

I’m more excited about this than some AC unit or an air purifier……………. Okay, maybe not.

And I’m not even a coffee person. Gulolol.

fliptuner 08-03-2021 08:14 PM

Has anyone seen Medicom Vulcan Nitrile gloves at Costco lately? The ones they have now are crap.

MG1 08-03-2021 09:14 PM

I keep looking, but no luck. All of a sudden, my hoarding pays off. Life's a B!tch..........

I think the ones they have now is what they are going to carry from now on. Sad.
