Wow, excellent value! My go-to is the $28.88/ 4.73L jug of Walmart/SuperTech oil though. :D |

Oh yes. I don't normally monitor the price of the oil at Costco, so when not on sale, the SuperTech stuff is my go-to. This is amazing value for 2 jugs. Will Badhobz buy in? |
I assume he will, who could say no to 2 huge jugs? |

P.s ran out of oil filters though…. And those blue OooooooooOooo ring washers for the drain plug. Need to stop by Toyota and grab them. Lousy Oooooo rings are like 1.25 each |
Got nothing bad to say about that Costco oil, have about 6000km on the current oil and it’s still nice and golden Bought a case when Hobz was talking about it before and should probably buy another now with the sale |
Oil me up hobzy 0w20 please |
Jooo run 0w20 on super-rah ?! Isn’t that a bit too thin for the heat ? |
That's what's recommended! |
So my old greenworks lawn mower is kinda on its last legs. The battery is discharging quite quickly and i saw that costco had this sale https://i.postimg.cc/1ztgMHMS/1.jpg https://www.costco.ca/greenworks-80v...100985432.html 799! not bad right? NOPE! in warehoues its another 200 dollars off https://i.postimg.cc/g0Tx7ZBZ/2.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/gksk5hx2/3.jpg |
3/4 of an acre eh pretty crazy I’d be curious to see how it holds up in terms of longer grass, because I’ve got the 5HP Honda mower from Costco and even it bogs pretty bad on 10-12 days growth |
Bump this post in a year to see if Badhobz returns it. |
I want pics of that being actually used by Badhobz |
^ We all have our kinks, now we know roastpuff likes to watch another man mow his lawn... his own lawn? A lawn? Either way... |
https://i.postimg.cc/d1HCRZFh/IMG-7355.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/c1zYr3Tj/IMG-7358.jpg Mower review !!!! Final verdict : meh….. It does a good job at cutting the lawn. However, with no reverse gear it’s added weight for self propelling isn’t really worth it. How much heavier vs the old one ? Like at least 20lbs more. This beast is probably 80lbs. Makes maneuvering that much more challenging. It also stores double batteries but the batteries given are of the lowest rating. One 20v one and a 40v one. It can take dual 80v battery but of course not provided. |
80lb lol wtf. Is that the mower itself or are the batteries super heavy |
both. Each battery must be like 5-10lbs and it can load up two of them. The machine itself is very heavy…. Makes it a bit unruly to mow. However it does do a good job of actually cutting so I can’t fault it there |
Translation: It’s being returned tomorrow |
I picked up one of these on sale in March (it's slightly cheaper now) and I love it. It's way lighter than my old gas mower so it's easy to maneuver around all the stuff in the yard. If I stay on top of the grass it takes about 1 battery to do everything, if I let it get stupid long and try to mow it when it's still damp I go through both batteries. But the real bonus is it's the same batteries as their other power tools so I've started swapping over to those for the garage. Buying just the tools makes it way cheaper. https://www.homedepot.ca/product/ryo...ger/1001587357 |
^ I think I will go the Ryobi route when I move to AB too for the same reasons you've listed above... can finally get some proper tools and do stuff lol |
Badhobz hasn't posted all day. This is sus. :suspicious: |
I was detailing my ratrolla …. Took forever. Washed. Then clay bar, then polish, then hybrid ceramic wax. Holy thing took me from 8am till 12 noon. |
