Tbh the amount cheese Costco uses reminds me of McPizza

Badhobz 05-14-2024 08:28 AM

^you still remember what mcpizza looks and taste like ?! It’s all a vague haze to me now

But that cheese pizza was damn good. I took a few bites and threw it away like a monarch. I felt truly like a rich American to waste a perfectly good slice of cheese pizza that some starving Palestinian would fight me to the death for.

only thing i remember about mcds pizza is that i burned the roof of my mouth many many times while eating it.

Badhobz 05-14-2024 09:25 AM

Pretty sure they’ll eat anything right now.

I just remember it being thick like 3-5mm goooey cheese and a sweet tomato sauce. like if you weren't careful the cheese would slide off the sauce.

It kinda does, we have much different standards than the USA does for processed foods.

I'm not even trying to be contrarian... it's just a fact their ingredients are often much cheaper to product because of it.

Hondaracer 05-14-2024 04:14 PM

Well yea I’m just being an idiot

American meat and dairy makes me feel fucking gross.. although I felt fine when I was just in Vegas so maybe I’m just eating more garbage here and becoming used to it

I remember many years ago noticing American milk would have an expiry date like a month out whereas Canada was like a week.

Turns out there was some growth hormone or something that USA allowed, that Canada didn't.

That said, I notice our milk also has somewhat longer expiry dates now, so I'm not sure what's changed.

Different filtration and production processes enabled them to start making ESL (extended shelf life) milk. It came out in Germany in the 90's but took a bit to catch on.

It's alright. The chocolate is gooey because the cookie is kept hot. But other than that... nothing to write home about. I think they are like the one you can get at bakery section, just fatter and bigger.

Picanha is $8 off per pack at Still Creek once again. Stupid me grabbed the biggest single pack I could find when I would have been better off to get two small packs.

Lol n00b. Yeah the move with fixed $ sales is to get the smallest pack for greatest savings.

Hondaracer 05-31-2024 11:41 AM

If anyone is doing any painting, those brushes and rollers are an insane deal at Costco

8 brushes I think it is for $19 for high quality brushes, absolute garbage at Home Depot is $20 for 3. Might be the best deal going at Costco when compared to other retailers

G 05-31-2024 12:21 PM

Not sure if anyone has Uber Eats but there is a coupon code that some accounts got that expires today for grocery stores. They added Costco as a grocery store and I believe the coupon is like $75 off if you order $175? Just thought I would share SeemsGood

PeanutButter 06-03-2024 01:00 PM

I just checked and mine is $40 off $70 min order for select grocery stores.

edit. costco is not one of them It's only Walmart, Stadium market, Farm to Table, M&M for me.

The Reese's Dipped Animal Crackers are like crack. Do not get them unless you want to get fat or are already fat.

EvoFire 06-22-2024 01:08 PM

Now I really need to get them

Ah perfect. This works for my life long motto of the relentless pursuit of fatness.

Bought a bag. Bit too sweet, funny how on the bag there's a warning from the government about high fat and sugar content. If these were dark chocolate it would be better.

68style 06-25-2024 12:26 PM

I bought those too... I saw the warning and the 190 calories for 5 cookies... promptly packed up 3/4 of the bag into ziplocs and took them to work. Fatten them all up.

LOL
