^ Good to know, not that I think I would ever max it. Just not in the right income bracket. And then if I am, probably won't care lol

I don’t think regular household can max it. Even when my parents bought everything a cabin needs, from all the appliances to mattresses to beds and whatever you can think of, we still didn’t get to the 62500 of spending needed to mass the cash back for that year. The few peep I know who max out regularly all run businesses.

I do have a buddy who runs a Costco resale business, he used to have like 10 cards just so that he could get all the cash back he can. Until Costco caught the wind and cut all his memberships except one.

At some point that max cash back wasn’t in place because the one year we got $900 back when we did all our renos etc. the person who gave us the $950 back said the most he had ever seen as a cash back reward was $2600.. so whatever that works out to be probably $200,000+

We had a box of those, ended up throwing the second bag away cause we couldn't finish it.

We've been much more wary about buying things from Costco cause we don't finish it and end up throwing a quarter or half away.

As roastpuff pointed out, most goes oversea to China and Amazon 3rd party. The business is quite big... so big that they have storage/warehouse right next to Costco warehouses themselves.

If you see people buying the same stuff by the pallets, those are likely one of his colleagues/competitors.

Costco got some new shit today: Tuna Tataki and all this Chinese new year stuff, including this pretty special almond cookie crap that I've only seen in Macau.

Even in Vancouver, only the downtown location has sushi. None of the other ones do yet.

OMG Yeng Kee almond cookies. Only one of the biggest tourist traps Macau has to offer. (Worth trying if you haven't before though.)

$16.99/box is not bad considering they cost about the same there (if not more!) Also, fuck Macau. Piece of trash place.

Has anyone tried the A-Sha Dan Dan noodles? (They are on sale this week BTW) I heard that Momofuku noodles are manufactured by A-Sha. I've never tried both brands before and was wondering what all the hype is with these instant noodles.

They're just well made, good quality noodles, in my opinion. The ingredients are simple.

If I were to draw a line of hype = 10/10 will eat again because social media told me so, I would say these are more realistically 7/10 with some room to bump to 8 or fail down to a 5 if you let the hype get to you. No need to overthink it.

Yeng Kee almond cookies! I can't even remember the last time when I had them. I've only been getting my fix for Macau cookies / bakery goods with Choi Heong Yuen products, and those are getting expensive too.

Now my Costco bill is gonna go up again...
