Richmond location the drawing is hit and miss, some do some don't. The customer service ppl are typically quite cranky though. Cashiers are better.

gulolololol........... at Willingdon, and probably every Costco, for that matter, there are two lines on the way out to get checked. I always avoid the one with small kids in it. I just want to GTFO, asap.

If I worked at the Richmond location, I'd be cranky, too.

I can't imagine working there and it's my turn to work fetching the carts......... amusing, entertaining, and most importantly, dangerous as all hell.

First Responder: What happened?

Victim: Some fucking c-lai mistook the gas pedal for the brake pedal. Or, forgot it was in reverse.

j/k..... shit like that happens everywhere.

In the break room............

Costco worker 1: Dude, why you so sad. You look like someone shot your dog.

Costco worker 2: I'm on cart duty next shift.

For how bad Richmond drivers are, Richmond Costco seems relatively benign.

Other than being stuck for 30mins once because no one could move, it's mostly fine.

While I appreciate the smiley face and the chat with my younger kids, I too just want to GTFO asap with my groceries.

Had to return my Dyson v12 AGAIN!! Told returns I was having the same problem with the releasing the canister to empty it. They opened up 3 units and they all had to same problem.
Ended up downgrading to the v8 cause it was on sale.

It’s the only reason I go there. Just imagining what I can return 10 years later makes my pee pee hard.

I wonder if there is a RevScene but for employees at Costco who are customer facing... man that place would be a fucking riot.

all the customer-facing employees at the Richmond Costco seem like they've died inside.

Id be dead inside too if I had to pretend to listen to the insane reasons why Ching Chongs are returning stuff.

Thats why in order to brighten their day, I always come up with the most bat shit insane reasoning.

========

Why are you returning this watermelon drink after you drank 3 out of 6?

well!!! you see it was hot, so I popped one along the way back home, then I had to try it again with my wife and we both agreed this taste like jolly rancher watermelon, which is super artificial tasting...

WATERMELON BLAST mountain dew w/ energy tasted artificial to you?!

YES!!! I was expecting a lot of energy after enjoying a blast of fresh watermelon and the condensed dew of the mountains.

Heres your 6 dollar and 10 cents back sir.

WHY THANK YOU!

Just came back from trip to Willingdon Costco. I needed some Polident. Anyway, I usually go to self serve, but I had the cash back thing which was more than the Polident was worth, so no self serve today. I get to the cashier and it's my favourite dude, Gardner. Good looking asian fellow. I keep telling him that he never looks older. Asian do not age that quickly, butt when they do, damn............ back on topic. Gardner is like the most efficient cashier I've seen. The only one faster was this hot, I mean, hot, asian chick who used to work at the Bellingham Costco before they moved to the Arctic Ave. location. I think she might have actually been a halfer (the best kind). Anyway, when Gardner's at the till, the line could be twice as long as the others and you'll be out so quick.

I was just walking into costco and this guy was SOOOO nice to me saying hi (in GTA), and it was -12 - all i knew was that he was wearing a toque.
When i left he was hauling carts; his smile was gone LOL. To be fair, i'm sure Costco treats their staff nicely.

6 days ago, when all were removing EDI and saying good bye (i feel bad for those at HR roles) - costco says F U, we are keeping EDI. Bravo!
