Boston actually did a pretty good job retooling. Traded away lucic, got rid of Louie and chara yet they’re able to consistently find players even fucking up on thst draft year where they could’ve drafted barzal, connor and chabot. Haha

Gotta love the Tim Horton's hockey collectible television ad. There's a Canuck in the set, but not a single mention of it. 'Cause Canucks, so good..........
OK ... I'll be the first to eat crow, did not see this coming in the Montreal vs. Winnipeg series. I thought the Jets would do away with them in 5 or 6 games at most.
I'm not a fan of teams playing back to back in Playoffs.
MTL and Peg playing again today.
It's because the North division Canadian teams started the playoffs later than all the other divisions ... and that's because they had to play catch up games with Canucks to finish the season. They are trying to speed things up for the North to catch up, every other series has had 4 games already. This is the Habs/Jets 4th gmae. Although if the Habs do away with Jets in 4 ... that should make things easier for NHL.
Good for Strombone1 but did anyone watch that tourney at all ... I mean it was up against NHL playoffs. Couldn't be a worst time for the IIHF. Who comprised the roster? Bunch of no names plus NHL players that didn't make it to the playoffs?
^ they’re still NHL players I mean yah the first line was Henrique so it’s not exactly an All Star team, but there was some intrigue the projected first overall pick Owen Power was playing the whole tournament that must be so cool for him!
^ hmmmm ... soundbite looks good on paper but on the same token, you can say that a organization/team's failure is to stick with the same decision making process regardless of what the stress level (failure) is ... eg. Leafs. Stick with same thing and look what you get year after year.
