You guys think not playing in front of fans makes the players have an easier time phoning it in when it doesn’t go their way? I get that feeling from the Canucks this season they just go straight beer league defensively if they’re down like they don’t have to hear any boos or whatever so it’s not a pride thing anymore...

Knowing it's a back-to-back might play into that too.
Might as well rest up if the game's out of reach.
Not the best attitude, but you have to wonder if that plays in as a factor.

I feel slightly better about Toffoli cuz my buddy is a huge Montreal fan who was super excited to steal him from us and he said he's been completely invisible through 3 games so far.
The only upside with these Habs games is it underlines collosul fuck ups on Dim Jim’s management. Both with Tofolli who is destroying us and Hughes clearly missing Tanev

Im not sure if it’s just not on the list because it’s basically brain damage on display but this was the biggest hit I’ve ever seen in my life. I was watching this game live and I was literally jumping up and down yelling holy fuck!! Holy fuck!!!
It was a Chippy game/series and this was just a cherry on top, what a fucking hit

Miller’s grumpiness is kinda getting to me. All the F bomb rants, slapping his stick, visibly frustrated when others make mistakes yet not working harder to correct the gaffs he makes on his own. I don’t think his attitude is helping this team when times get tough.
I appreciate his passion, but if Horvat and/or Pettersson can tame the beast and take over the alpha role, I think it’d be best for the team overall.

He would’ve been signed but Benning was trying to land OEL. That tied up money for too long and Toffoli took the Habs offer. If it wasn’t a flat cap year, things could’ve been different.
