Seems impressive but if u just randomly select a teams drafting record, you will basically find that every team has simliar success in the draft in the past 6-7 years as the Canucks.(Theres obvious exceptions, teams who dont have 1st round picks who are constantly contenders for the cup)
Now dont get me started with the UFAs hes signed and his cap management. This is his 7th? year, GMs normally dont have a tenure lasting this long and GMJB should be no different. He helped lay down the foundation but its time for someone else to finish the job.

| There’s several articles on the athletic that have detailed out how Brackett fought tooth and nail for Pettersson and it wasn’t Benning’s preference.

The amount of penalties the Lightning get away with is mind boggling 
Constant hooking, high sticking, interference, spearing even... Nothing gets called unless it's completely blatant.

While I don’t doubt there are internal issues I find Drance to be a little sensationalist. Especially now that him and Jeff Patterson don’t really have an avenue to be in the media anymore and the athletic is basically a rumour mill no one wants to pay for
