I don't think Bo or Petersson will make a trade request. But I can imagine Boeser Miller & Hughes making the request. Lose Hughes and we are done (although we were technically done after we signed all these 3-4th liners for 3m a pop).

Hughes is barely 21 so he could go either way, lol.

Just a friendly reminder to some of the noobs on RS. You cannot start a 2021/2022 Canucks thread until the playoffs are over.
If you do, everyone on RS will point their fingers at you and laugh. Plus, failstorm.
Also, the thread is always started by one guy year in and year out. That member would be, none other than, murd0c. Yeah, sometimes, he’s a little slow. Give him at least half an hour grace period. Sometimes he needs a slap up the side of the head —— RS wake up call.

Haha ... all the hype about the new and improved Oilers, this is McDavid's year ... they get spanked by Jets 4-1 in opening game. Again, you can have all the fire power in the world but if your goalie is a sieve ..
And in this case, your fire power can't even put more than 1 goal in the net.
I like McDavid but there is something satisfying to see Oilers fail again. Just like the Leafs. Mtl vs. Jets in round 2 please.

The biggest reason IMO that the Canucks are underachieving is the meddling owner Aquilini.

They already ran Trevor Linden out of this organization, what will they do with two of the franchises two other icons?
As fans, all you want is your team to have success. Aquilini shouldn’t be any different. However, with one of the most important offseasons in franchise history now beginning, it seems like this ownership group is setting this team up for failure and mediocrity instead of success.
