I feel there will be a buyer for teams who's feeling the covid hit and maybe don't want to spend so much money but need to meet the cap floor.
Pay louie 3 mil (after the SB paid by canucks) and then have a 6 mil cap hit.
The difference is most of those players traded were on LITR so they just sat as empty cap space. Loui unfortunately has been extremely durable during his tenure as a Canuck lol.

Loui and Lou's recapture will be done next year so 1 more year before GMJB can overpay for more plugs.
I really feel bad for Loui and Baerts. but then again not cause they get paid well.
Don't forget Sutter's $4.375M contract is over now. Not sure if Canucks will give him a new offer. My guess is yes since he is a center that is important on the PK and JB loves to overpay.
