12 Pro Max is a month later than the rest... Nov 13 release,but I think its worth the wait.

I see the difference between the iphone 12 and the 12 Pro being the camera system. Two cameras on the iphone 12. Four cameras on the 12 Pro.

Dolby Vision and LDAR (augmented reality for special effects) on the iphone 12 Pro Max.

Back to the square bezel eh..graphite looks nice. Kinda surprised they did away with the green from the 11 pro max, love my green and it seemed to be a favourite

i'm surprised for display technology they didn't give a shit for any high FPS upgrades.


i feel like that's the smoothest upgrades in years for mobile technology,demo any 120hz mobile displays and you'll be pretty damn impressed

What are people's experience with pre-ordering from major carriers? i.e. delays, sold out...

Not through carrier but pre-ordered through Apple yesterday afternoon. Getting a Nov 10-18 date delivery.

The blue looks nice, I'd like to compare it to my blue Xperia 10ii. iPhone looks quite a bit brighter

Was contemplating the blue, but ended up with graphite because I'm basic like that.

Doesn't really matter what colour you get, it's all black on the front and the sides/back will be covered in a case for 99% for us.

I got graphite too for resale purposes, but it looks pretty nice from what I've seen in the leaked unboxing videos.

Based on my experience with the 10ii, you should really like it, especially if they improve on the negatives of this phone. Battery life is INSANE, I only charge it every other day, and only to 90%

I didn't know about the 10 ii, only found out when I saw your comment and shopped for 5 ii tempered glass film

The 11 pro max battery life is by far best battery I’ve ever had in a phone so I don’t suspect they would take such a nose dive in battery life.

And yea, don’t really see the point in buying these high end phones and putting a hideous otter box on it lol..like I get protecting the investment but I’d rather get apple care and get a new screen than carry around a phone in a case my 11 pro max has never had a case or screen protector on it and besides micro scratches on the front the phone is in near mint condition. Surprisingly the back seems to be immune to scratches *knock on wood lol

The newest Gorilla Glass is absolutely finger print proof (with a quick wipe) and drop proof, and I assume Apple uses something even better. To each their own but I don't get having a beautiful $1200 or whatever phone, and sticking a $3 piece of plastic over the thing, and an amazing clear oil proof screen and putting a layer of cheap smudgy glass over it...

TO me it's like leaving the protective plastic on your TV screen or couch LUL

I guess the idea is to make sure the person buying it off you gets a great experience?

With most phones now having that camera bump, it's awkward to not have a case to balance the back piece.

Solution: make the phones thicker overall! KEKW

Got my 12 and 12 Pro today because I couldn't decide which one to keep.

I've decided to return them and just keep my X for another year, lol.

I mean the camera upgrades and the faster processer is nice, but it doesn't feel as big of an upgrade as it should be for the amount of money I'm spending.

EDIT: Also, the ceramic shield coating seems weak. I stacked the 12 Pro on top of the 12 to compare the bezels and the screen on the 12 got scratched. Was doing some reading and stumbled upon someone else with the same situation.
