Getting a quote for a CAT replacement

My car threw a P0430 code recently, and I am trying to get a ballpark figure of how much it is going to cost to fix it. Does anyone have any good recommendations for a shop that works on this? Any muffler shops? Thanks.

About 3 50

That's gonna depend a lot on what car it's for.

You can fix it by gutting the cat and running o2 extensions
That's what I did when one of my cats clogged

Why do people ask for technical advice or pricing and not post an application?

Interesting tidbit: China's buying rhodium again. In 2016 an ounce was trading for about $600. This year, roughly $13000.

Fun fact: if you ask a specific question, without providing specific details, no one can give you a specific answer.

Fact is, you just need any shop to confirm the cat is bad. Replacement is an easy bolt in.
