Any referrals to somebody that can help my parents write a will? Very straight forward, not a lot of assets. They're based in the tri cities so prefer something not too far. Needs to be able to speak Cantonese.

Looking for an electrician to redo an exterior conduit. One of the wires in the conduit has been severed (I'm assuming that's the case). Power from main breaker panel is present. Sub panel in the garage (for EV charger) only has one live wire. I get 120 volt service, but not 240. The person who did the original work was recommended to me by a Revscene member. Dude is no longer interested in working on it......... too busy and has moved on.

I've checked the breakers on both ends. Switched out and tested.

I'm in the same boat. A family member on my wife's side became very ill. She has no will and cannot speak/communicate because of her condition. What a nightmare. Because of the headaches she has caused, I finally decided to get my will done. I went to a few places and I wasn't impressed. One place gave me a form to fill out. Lots of questions. So all they do is take the info and register it. Probably get a person to just type in the info. Wasn't cheap, either.

Anyway, I came across an on-line will company called, "Willful." Simple one, costs $99. I chose the next level $149.00. It allows me to appoint executors and register the will. Also included is the ability to sign the will on-line, where they will witness the will. No need to find people who are not related.

Also, you can amend the will at any time.

https://www.willful.co/?utm_term=wil...BoCWuIQAvD_BwE

I was skeptical at first.......... on-line wills? I'm glad it's over. No worries. I believe they even provide digital storage of important info and stuff. I liked the ability to list assets, like my extensive stamp collection, vehicles/trailers, tools/equipment, etc. Also assign person to be in charge of health matters, along with executors in order of preference (in case they cannot fulfill their duties).

I'm looking for someone to hang wallpaper on one wall in my house. I didn't expect it to be this hard to find someone.

I found an electrician. The guy recommended to me via RS didn't work out. Solution was too expensive. Like $1000.00. I searched on-line and came across AJ's Electric. Got it done for just over $600.00. Done in no time flat. Great service. The electrician who came over was top notch. Positive and polite. I got the seniors discount (12% off). Licensed, bonded, and insured. So important to me. Anyway, can't go wrong with these people.

I was also looking for gutter cleaner. Also roof needs to be demossed.......... is that even a word?

My gutters are pretty clogged up with crap. I can do the lower part of the house myself, but the roof is a little too high up for my liking. A Somalian dude knocked on my door today. Almost went with him, but he insisted on cash, which is fine, but after asking him a few questions, found out his business was a little shady. No reviews from anyone. He was probably not insured. He falls, I'm stuck. No thanks.........

That work looks good, when I lived in Clayton in houses sort of similar to that photo I had a neighbour put one of those up with a solid roof so no light got through and it was really high off the ground and basically went from his house to his garage. That fucking thing shaded half my back yard to the point where my grass in my back yard was always wet and I had to rip it out, never had any sun. I wanted to throat punch that cocksucker so bad, eventually my other neighbour complained because of no permit and the city made him tear it down but some houses should not have awnings in my not so humble opinion.

I remember seeing the same neighbour in the newspaper complaining about the lack of street parking because of all the suites, the rub was he had a suite. I seriously hated that piece of shit.

I have a solid cover from house to garage and it is pretty high up. I also have a solid one from garage out 25 feet to create a double carport. No shade into neighbours 'cause house is east west. Garage and kitchen is so cool now. Kitchen and garage facing west. Best money spent ever. Front of house gets morning sun, so house stays pretty cool. Until you mentioned it, I never thought about the covers shading the neighbour's backyard. I would feel so bad, I'd take it down right away if it affected my neighbour.

Looking for a recommendation on exterior (stucco-ed) wall repair, with the possibility that there might be some additional damage repair required underneath the wall that would require fixing.

Also looking for a recommendation on fascia + soffit repairs.

I hate Raincouver now.

Any recommendations for a car detailing in Vancouver proper? The inside of our 2nd vehicle is way over due for a good cleaning. Doesn't have to be a commercial location I know there are some guys who do this out of their house.

If by definition of Vancouver proper being City of Vancouver, I don't know, but if you're willing to cross the Knight Street Bridge...

Try Project Detail.
Good guy. Good team. RS member too.

Good luck with the stucco repair, fuck it was impossible to find anyone.

I have a masonry contact who I’ve used in the last great guy, I’ll dig it up when I’m home. I had a relatively small stucco job that was hard to reach. Contacted 6 different people, not one got back to me
