i was soooooooooooooooooooo pissed about his pardon-ing his son.

1) LIESSSS
2) NO he wasn't targetted for NOTHINGGGGGGG

Did he do this so his son can run??? sooooooooo F-ed up.

I hate politics

Hondaracer 12-02-2024 12:20 PM

He’s a multiple felon who Biden said 10+ times he’d never pardon, and surprise surprise he pardoned him.

Only bad when orange man does it though

Traum 12-02-2024 01:05 PM

Of course Biden was wrong to pardon Hunter. In terms of objective metrics, he has been a pretty productive president getting stuff done. But with this pardoning of his son, he has tarnished his own legacy that would otherwise have been received a fairer assessment by future generations.

As 68 says though -- at this point, he is in full on DGAF mode. He has already been salty about getting forced out of the running, and now this. FailFish

Trump changed the ground rules, did this or something like it a dozen times... Biden is just like fuck this, that POS would do it I'm going to as well.

Trump has lowered the bar of what it means to be a politician... like... lower than snake's underbelly where it already was.

Hondaracer 12-02-2024 01:39 PM

lol well you guys spend months crying about all this shit then when it’s Biden it’s ok?

This game is tired, everyone is the same shit nothing ever gonna change.

so true man... hunters charges are pretty underwhelming tbh. i didnt even know what they were till i looked them up just now. he was charged for lying about drug use when he bought a gun and then for a tax crime. trumps entire career is literal tax crimes, why should we care about these nothingburger charges? if i was an american i would care a lot more about trumps buddies who are literal traitors to the US that got let off due to their loyalty behind bars.

CivicBlues 12-02-2024 03:15 PM

Same here, I had no idea those were the charges

I thought it had something to do with official secrets. What were all the MAGAs squawking about re: HuNtEr BiDeN'S LAPTOP!!!!!!1111

Yeah, I believe that Biden wasn't originally planning to pardon his son but after seeing a convicted criminal who had multiple other serious pending charges and court dates become president and have all of those charges dropped and even his sentencing stayed for the crimes he was convicted of, I don't blame Biden for thinking "What even is the justice system anymore?" and saying fuck it.

And the double standards set for the Democrats are hilarious, noone would say shit if this was Trump pardoning Don Jr because that's what would be expected.

Actually the real kicker is going to be when Trump pardons himself and all the republicans are going to be saying how great he is for doing it.

Who said it was OK? Nobody. Majority of us who have commented have lost a bit of respect for him and agree that it has tarnished the presidency ... nepotism at its peak. To me, it may be worst because all along, he said he wouldn't, then on his way out, he pardoned him.

Not sure how you read posts, this is more of an example of you twisting people's comments to fit your narrative.

westopher 12-02-2024 05:52 PM

Meh I'll gladly say I'm putting in a double standard between him and trump. Why? Cause one is a way worse person than the other, and has committed thousands more terrible actions than the other.
It's literally the way the justice system (at least is supposed to) work. People with a prior record of terrible behaviour are punished more than a first time offender. I'd pardon my fuckin kid too, as long as it wasn't murder or rape or something.

Traum 12-02-2024 07:59 PM

According to some Trump-supporting idiot that keeps spewing nonsense in a FB group I'm in, more than 1/2 of the American voters knowingly voted Trump despite his felony charges, bankruptcies, previous track record as POTUS, etc., and so the voters have spoken about how they do not mind/care about these supposed atrocities that are drummed up and overemphasized by biased left wing media.

I was like WutFace

These idiots have literally made their own bed. Too bad they'll drag the rest of us down along with them when they lie in it. FailFish

Considering how the Republicans got so worked up about Hunter Biden you'd think the guy was responsible for Benghazi or something.

Don't love Joe doing this but considering his life of service and the state of politics today this is but a minor dent in his legacy.

It doesn't even rise to the level of Orange Man pardoning his son-in-law's father for far worse crimes and then making him ambassador to France. If that's a 10 then pardoning Hunter is a 4.

I am not that familiar with Charles Kushner, and I am trying to be fair. According to his Wikipedia entry, his crimes were certainly far worse than what Hunter has done. The big difference with Hunter though is -- Charles Kushner has served out his full sentence in 2006, and was released from prison. And then he received the pardon from Trump in 2020. Whereas with Hunter, he has pleaded guilty and is waiting for sentencing when he gets pardoned. So that is quite a dramatic difference that I don't think anyone can deny.

With Kushner, you can even make the argument that since he has already fully served his prison term, society ought to look beyond his past mistake and give him another fair chance. (I'd disagree with that view about Kushner, but I digress.)

I don't know my US pardons too well, but if Charles Kushner has already served his full sentence, what purpose did Trump pardoning him actually serve? That his criminal record is erased? which allows him to get appointed to become the ambassador to France now?

The pardon for Hunter is very different, since he is literally receiving a get out of jail card.

He also got attacked quite a bit by republicans purely because of who his dad is, so the guy has had a fair bit of whatever the opposite of nepotism is as well. Marge seemed pretty obsessed with his dick and kept illegally displaying photos of it publicly.

Maybe it's a stupid thing to do but compared to all the nepotism that filled Trumps original administration this isn't even close to the peak.

unit 12-03-2024 09:23 AM

trump literally put his whole family in the white house, none of which have political experience or expertise. just 100% grifters through and through.

Badhobz 12-03-2024 09:33 AM

If I was Joe I’d done the same thing. The system is going to shit anyways I might as well benefit my crack head kid. Fuck it !!!

pastarocket 12-03-2024 11:17 AM

100 percent. If I was Joe, I would also do the same thing and pardon Hunter Biden.

Cheeto keeps making claims that the Democrats weaponized the US department of Justice so that the judges do the bidding for the Dems.

-pretty hypocritical stance from Cheeto if you ask me. Marmalade appointed judges for the US Supreme Court and the US Court of Appeals so that he can use the American judicial system as a tool for himself. A weaponized court system to help Cheeto.

Maybe Sleepy Joe has a fear that Cheeto would somehow ask US Supreme Court judges to sentence Hunter to a lengthy jail term as a way to get revenge over Joe and the Democrats?

Biden is being a father to protect his son from a power hungry President Elect who is determined to exact revenge on enemies.

Hondaracer 12-03-2024 11:23 AM

Biden is the president pardoning a multiple time felon. He doesn’t get to just be a father lol

Regardless of Orange man this justification is comical.

I understand why Biden is pardoning his son. Is it wrong for him to do so? -plenty of arguments for Joe to pardon and not pardon Hunter.

The threats from No. 47 are real. Cheeto said it himself that he is going after "perceived enemies".

It is no laughing matter when you have a power hungry President elect who will do anything to get revenge against his enemies. -would be easy for Cheeto to make an example of Hunter.

If anyone thought that Cheeto's first term as POTUS was wild, we have not seen nothing yet during his second term.

Nah I already explained why it isn't.

All you can do is sit back and laugh at the USA now, I think westopher said it before the entire country just has the feel of a pickup truck with the gas pedal pegged and no headlights on and a drunk/high redneck at the wheel looking for a pride flag or minority to destroy while getting his dick sucked by his gay cousin who's half black.

Qmx323 12-03-2024 01:29 PM

I'd have settled for "runaway freight train" but the imagery you've created is welcome, too

I think that's paraphrased but even better.
