Any reason why? It's so similar. I looked at the prime but I just couldn't swing the interest rate Toyota wanted. Quote:

Yes it is a plastic cover... but it is not a steelie underneath... Quote:
This whole thing started when I helped my younger brother in law pick up a 4runner, then my parents wanted a RAV4 Hybrid, and then my older brother in law picked up a prime.... and during going to the dealership for like 8Xs over the last 3 weeks. And making all 3 sales. (you know how it goes, even though there was no language barrier, everyone is like.. OH buying new car? better call up the "car guy" in the extended family... guuuhhh) The sales approached me about my payments on the Ioniq, and said let him massage the numbers and he can make the Prime cheaper. So yes, my family bought 4 cars from the same sales over a span of 3 weeks... Ultimately I lost 2 years worth of finance payments haha (i guess i will treat it like a lease?), somehow my payments was on par with the deprieciation so I wasn't upside down for the trade in. On top of that he knocked another $2600 from the msrp toyota.ca, cancelled the document fees, but still charged the $1950 PDI @.@ Finance I did it thru scotiabank, 1.99% APR over a stupendous long term lol... And was $0 down.... End result being - brand new car with new warranty - monthly payment went up by $7.81 - but insurance went down by $78.00 - and I assume my $40.00/mth gas bill will be reduced to >$10.00/mth So.. the sales didnt lie, my monthly running cost for the baby carrier did go down (not counting the 10K I've already sunken into the ioniq finance payments lol) Yea.... my wife is thrilled to have a new car.. so there's that.... |
I'm surprised you got a rate that low, on Toyota it's like 4.99? It's it because it is a 2020? I'm looking at the Prius as a family commuter for my dad but not sure if it will be too small. I haven't had the chance to test one but I've tested the leaf and it was not too cramped in the back. |

Not sure, but my main banking and mortgage is thru Scotiabank? That's the only correlation I can think of? Maybe there is a loyalty rate reduction? lolol, nth was mentioned to me. Everyone knew my face at this point and we just went thru the paperwork super fast... And ofc both my hyundais were Scotiabank, ofc at the time when I got the Elantra I had no idea, the finance manager at openroad Hyundai just said we are doing Scotiabank, but that was 0% APR lolol.... As for room in the back, its acceptable. But I nevered really checked the rear seat room much for like the past 8 years lol.... cuz you know... kids... |

Ok, i gotta ask. Does your smartphone really watermark all your photos? |
I love the exterior lights on these. So uh... GR Prius PHV kit when? :drool |
The headlights of that Prius add a little coolness factor that the side profile absolutely sucks into the abyss lol |
|
I'm going to guess the wheel covers add some kind of aero efficiency, but god damn they are ugly. The CF hatch though is awesome. I generally like the front and back of the Prime, but yes Hondaracer, the side profile sucks. Some bigger wheels would help, but that would defeat the purpose of the car. |
how much premium is the blue magnetism? glorified street parking bucket: https://i.imgur.com/uLhPckY.jpg |
https://scontent.fyvr4-1.fna.fbcdn.n...cc&oe=60AFB1FB Is this really the paint quality of new cars these days? Toyota painting cars with those 50 for $1 brushes from the Dollar General. |

yea what is up with the orange peel holy lol |
Toyota's Cement Grey and the Whites are pretty consistent, the other colours, they look like shit lol |
haha that's pretty bad Toyota paints are usually pretty good unless dark0821 mucked it up lol! The Blizzard White on my iM is pretty good and still looks new from the day I got it four years ago |
A lot of brand new cars go to bodyshops for work cuz they arrive with scratches or damage... could be victim to that |
