Had it PPF'd! Got Ken @ Autowerkes to do it. Some pictures below. I had to zoom in extremely closely to find the edges where the film showed, and that also needed an angle where the light hits it just right. Otherwise it's basically invisible.

Just full front for film. Ceramic coat everywhere else (Crystal Serum Light). Sorry first pic is probably misleading I didn’t take a front pic because there was another car waiting to get in.

2.1k for front full film, and 1k for ceramic coating.

Not a fancy photo. I should start doing the maintenance to the STi and drive it. Or should I be lazy and take it to a shop? Just needs a gasket or two to stop an oil drip

Well it's an STi, so by gasket or two are you thinking headgasket replacement + spare headgasket for summer?

Your guess is pretty bad considering STi's aren't NA. A better guess would have been valve cover gasket or power steering pump o rings.

What does a head gasket failure have to do with the aspiration of the engine? I believe they're more common in the H6/base 2.5 engines, but from the research I did when I owned one, it appeared to be a fairly common problem in both the WRX and STi.

Because NA cars didn't use multi layer gaskets, which were prone to head gasket failures. Putting in multi layer gaskets when fixing the failure fixes the problem. Turbo Subaru's already come with multi layer gaskets.

MrSubaru1387 on YouTube talks about the misconception re all Subaru's suffer from head gasket failure.

Nailed it. Power steering o-ring, the VVT solenoids too. But if I’m going through the trouble of removing all that might as well do plugs, Valve cover gaskets etc. Tempting to do the up-pipes too since I assume the OEM unit is gonna be rusted into one solid chunk

Sorry for the double post. But…. Boys…. I did it.

Sunset in Ladner today was 4:25pm and it was beautiful. I didn’t intentionally do this but sometimes the universe throws you a bone.

The RS hit 69,420km at 4:20pm with a beautiful sunset.

There may have been some celebratory donuts

Pine and cedar cleared from the roof and gutters. Ready for the next atmospheric river.

City fuel range of this car will get me way past the fuel crisis. I had a hunch the day before the 30L guideline…crazy times! [emoji51]
