She only drives 2-3 times a month and we both WFH so a beater feels like a waste of money for the insurance costs. Probably cheaper just to have her take an Uber.

A driving course would be my preference

I would tell the strata to find the vehicle that hit the door. Why would the owner be responsible for the damage? put a lien on the property? pure scare tactic.

See the centre median northbound next to the RAV4 in this street view: https://goo.gl/maps/NghJVG4QEy67uxgk7

My wife managed to drive over it while making a left turn northbound and blew out the front left tire b/c of it.

I need to find her some driving courses.
Sounds like you need to take the keys away....

Have you tried using visual/physical models to explain how much space a car commands and how it moves?
I've found that a lot of times bad drivers or inconfident parkers, is because they don't have a good sense of spatial awareness and a good sense of how the vehicle actually interacts in a 3D plane, if that makes sense?

Grab a Maisto 1/24 or heck even some hotwheels if desperate or whatever and lay out some scenarios. Have them handle the model in different scenarios and see if that could help them understand movement/turning radius etc etc.

All the models in the world are not going to help someone that's dinged the car a few times. People with no spatial awareness can not be taught. If you wanna have a laugh, ask her how tall she thinks a standard door in your house is.

She'll either say 5 feet or 15 meters.

Had to give up on my quest of owning a mint s2000 again so got a fake one last month. In midst of ricing it out. Waiting on suspension and some other things.

And also been ricing out a track toy I picked up at the start of the year. Got 17 events in over the summer and it hasn't blown up yet

That stacking rack might actually be a better use of my space than wall mounting a tire rack. Going to think about it a bit, thanks for the inspiration.
