There's a OG M2 in Grey selling for 53K at Westminster Toyota ... Was that one yours?

I don't recognize that one from our club. Mine is the blue on ferric grey at Langley

Don't forget an extra bottle of ATF as our damn power steering lines like to sweat just by staring at them. Or maybe its just my m3
Reminds me of the parking in Japan. Oh how I wish it was easier and safe to travel.

Decided to grow a mullet and pick up a new daily. But for real there were life changes and family members' health changing needing rides to appointments. The M2 was too low and difficult for those family members to get in/out. I was offered a decent price on trade, essentially owning the car for $0 over >2 years and picked up something that hopefully will not depreciate too much while I figure out what car to get next. I still have the e36 m3 as a fun/track car so this may be a first for me in keeping the same vehicles long term.
Luckily got the exact spec T4R that I wanted and my 4 month wait turned into 1 as someone who ordered this changed their mind.
Congrats on the 4Runner. I miss mine dearly. Love the Lunar Rock. You'll definitely appreciate the "depreciation" on this one. Sell for more than you paid in a year or two. That's how 4Runner's roll.
Curious if there is anything "new" for 2022 compared to 2021?
Yah I love the colour of that 4Runner... and those particular OEM wheels are awesome too.
I'd probably look into buying one if the driving experience was a bit more engaging... any of the 2016-ish ones I drove felt so truck-like and I can't imagine that changed as I believe they're the same now barring cosmetics.
In the Off-Road specifically, the 2021 and 2022 are virtually identical since the last major update was 2020 with the upgraded head unit, TSS-P, and a few other goodies. 2021 got LED's everywhere. Curious if there were any simple improvements or additions compared to last year. I think 2023 might be the next gen but not sure. Always cool to have the last year of a generation.
You gotta be a 4Runner nerd to really appreciate them, otherwise most people are like "what's the hype? It's so boring".

2022 Has a lot of features that people begged for at the cost of a higher MSRP vs last year. It basically has all the goodies. It has KDSS, LED low beams and fog lights (but halogen drl), 360 camera, front camera option, locking rear diff, remote start, updated dash and infotainment (started 2020), comfort entry (not sure if new), push start, and blind spot sensors. I wanted a 2021 TRD Pro in Lunar but the 2022 TRD OR was cheaper with more features. The 360 camera is a game changer with my small apartment parking spot between two walls.

It drives truck line but not as bad as a full size pickup, feels like a Tacoma to me. Its a good comfortable daily driver for my job which requires small 0-2km trips throughout the day. Its not as fun as a Macan on the road but im sure once i start going offroad I'll appreciate the 4r even more.

The 360 camera would be the new for 2022 feature. My 2021 had all the other options. All those little features were a real game changer over the 2019. I hated the roof rack on the Pro and sold mine but when I went to re-buy one again I loved the $10k savings over the Pro without really sacrificing anything. Off Road FTW! Congrats again on the purchase. If you end up hating it you can enjoy making a profit selling it in this crazy market.
I ordered a 2022 Limited, trading my 2017 in. If there is remote start from the key/remote that's awesome. The app is terrible to use and need a yearly subscription.

Crossed the border today and the guard owns a 21 4Runner. He mentioned the same, he has everything except for the 360 camera and blind spot sensors on his TRD OR. I don't think I'll sell it. Maybe sell the e36 m3 and get an older pcar if i ever win the lottery

As white rocket said. Lock three times and hold on the third. Apparently there's talks on the forums where if your subscription ends, depending on the vehicle your key fob can no longer be used to do a remote start. If this is true its not that big of a deal since the system is odd and when you put your hand on the door handle to unlock the car the motor shuts off.

mk7 in general has been pretty well regarded and Matsuda loves his.
Wife had a GTI performance pack before and we liked it too...
lets see how this VW goes!
I've been driving the 911 turbos at work and the Golf R feels like its the same idea - its quick enough, good for everyday and a good driving car- just lacking a bit character. No complaints so far though.
