I have a single hose Danby we bought from Costco like 4 years ago and i usually tried to drain it at the end of each summer and there would be barely anything. This year after a few weeks of running it i moved it and could hear the water in it so I drained it and there was probably a couple cups of water in it not sure what changed we always keep it on cool mode.

Indicator color of operating mode and LED:
When Cooling mode is selected, the indicator light will be blue.
When Dehumidify mode is selected, the indicator light will be yellow.
When Fan mode is selected, indicator light will be green.
When Auto mode is selected, indicator light will be based on the operating mode

Even the high end models are non serviceable (no ports)
Technically you could re charge it, but would require re brazing after puncture. And at that point, you have entered 2022, where we throw everything out that does not work, since it's cheaper to buy a new one
Same as repairing a fridge / freezer

I repaired my own fridge recently, kitchen aid with a faulty computer board… took it out figured out which capacitors were bad and then put it back in… ordered capacitors… pulled it out again and soldered 2 new capacitors in… good as new! Kitchen aid wanted $700 for a new computer board lol

you guys also need to remember 35 degrees +45% humidity is much more comfortable than 35 and 70% humidity. North america is already quite comfortable because it's dry heat. The humidity is the nasties.

Now they have flooding throughout the country, 250K people have been evacuated
Over here the weather is back to normal. After the July we had, 26-30 celsius feels nice and cool now lol. Don't even need AC on for most of the day
Just need to survive the next 45-60 days and then it's back to nice weather for 8 months
