Never thought this would happen, but it looks like they are going for it.

August 21 to September 6.

Now, I went to those special drive through days (doughnut and fair food events) and they were offering free PNE passes for whenever the fair opens again. I wAnder if they are going to honour it. I haven't had any e-mails about it.

Will try to go as much as possible to try and support them. Hopefully scaled down doesn’t equate to some shitty half ass fair that leaves people with a bad taste

Just called Ticket Leader, the people who're in charge of admissions and ticket sales. I was told they will email those people who participated in the events of last year as to how they can redeem the free passes.

I miss the PNE so much, I'm even going to go into the Agridome for the first time. Frick, I hate the smell of shit and farm animals. I'm a city slicker, mang.

Have to purchase tickets for a specific day. Might actually be nice - quieter than usual without all the crazy crowds.

Prepare for sold out tickets way in advance as well as scalpers. :pokerface:

That was my first thought but I didn't want to be a pessimist. The site will probably crash when I try and purchase tickets and then they will be sold out. 50 bucks a ticket on Craigslist. SeemsGood

I went back and looked at the email and it appears to say opening day 2021 only. Hopefully they allow more than just opening day.

The email will show up before ticket sales on Friday, I was told................. wait.......... today is Wednesday. I have this feeling they are going to be scrambling.Quite a few people went to those events. How the hell are they going to make it work? It can't be all in one day with reduced numbers and all.

Been a long long time since I have went to PNE. I don't know if I want to even buy tickets in advance. What if you buy tickets on a specific date and when times comes, it's raining LOL.

Yeah I received the email as well. It mentions nothing about a specific day so hopefully it's open for all days.

I'm guessing it will completely sell out/fill up for their limited openings.

No specific dates. Just log in, cross your fingers, and hope for the best. You'd figure they'd give the people who supported them last year a special day to redeem their passes ahead of the masses................ masses with passes...........nvm. I'm a poet and I didn't even know it........that I was that bad of one.

I meant to say, a special day to exchange their tickets.

In the email it literally says to select date in point #7

I'm hoping for a weekend, so I can go with my family. If I'm not mistaken Mondays are a day of rest, 'because the PNE was not created in a week? Black Sabbath. Now why in hell would you take days off when you're forced to limit attendance? Perhaps a really good reason. Well, students get their summer job opportunity. That's a good thing.


EDIT: I may have assumed too much. Days off are not on all Mondays............. need to do more research. Off to the laundromat.

Just exchanged for 4 free passes. All days were available at 9:55 am this morning. Printed out the tickets. I'm good to go. I don't give a flying frisbee if it rains, snows, or lightning hits. Imma going to the PNE. Gone every year at least once. Even last year, if the drive thru's count. All I want is a new refillable "Beast" cup. My old one is about to spring a leak. Yes, the small things in life is what keeps me going.

Tried for like 30 mins to exchange on my PC and wasn't working, ticketleader kept showing errors. Finally gave up and di it on my phone no issues.

Weird. I used my laptop. Anyway, at 9:55, the site was not busy at all.

Yea weird, even way after the fact I went on to buy PNE tickets for my 2 kids and kept getting some administrator error when trying to pay, same error I kept getting when trying to exchange. Switched to my phone no issues at all, meh.

Aug 21 tickets bought! Please don't rain..

Hopefully there won't be huge line ups for rides.. Half the day is wasted just standing there.

Will there be concerts this year?
